Everything is homemade, the meat is perfectly seasoned and spiced… incredible, you have to taste it to understand! 09/12/2025: Punto de espera has a large terrace and a children's playground. There's plenty of space inside. I recommend ordering takeout since they use recycled plastic for their food.

29/01/2026: Honestly, I don't understand the 4.1 rating. We were extremely disappointed. There was no choice, the staff were incredibly unfriendly and unkind, and everything was truly awful—absolutely nothing good. Even the chips were soggy. We ordered a wok with garlic sauce, and I ended up with curry. The hygiene is appalling… Avoid this place!

17/05/2026: A very friendly welcome, a pleasant setting with a sea view, and quick service! Overall, good value for money with simple but effective, locally sourced cuisine. Just one minor drawback: the frozen fries, which seem out of place on a lunch menu at the higher end of the price range.

11/04/2026: Fabulous confit lamb, perfectly preserving the flavor of the accompanying vegetables... a truly delightful experience. Plus, genuine interaction with the waiter and chef, who were friendly, engaging, and sincere. A place to discover, or rediscover.

27/03/2026: For my daughter's 50th birthday, I invited her to ALAIA. The welcome was perfect, thanks to the restaurant manager, who managed to find me a bone marrow dish that I adore, flank steak with shallots, served with crispy fries, and an excellent wine selection that perfectly complemented my meal. The desserts were classic, like rice pudding, and, more originally, a financier with fruit coulis. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is also admirably located on Socoa beach. I will soon invite my two granddaughters to this restaurant, but for lunch.

20/03/2026: Excellent value for money, quiet location. Good and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find, its location south of Bayonne allows you to head towards Spain without being held up by morning traffic!

15/03/2026: Overall, I had a good stay. The room was generally pleasant. A minor point for improvement: the shower head could be checked, and adding a shower curtain would be helpful to prevent splashes in the bathroom. Thank you to Lola for her warm welcome and understanding at reception.

02/05/2026: Terrible welcome. The security guard, clearly lacking in confidence, decided to refuse us entry on a Friday (even though the bar was empty) because we were missing ID. P.S.: We're 25. This bouncer is an enemy to his own boss. Luckily, the service at Black Pig is better.

06/05/2026: Disappointing. Cold welcome. You have to go back outside and wait, being ignored. The chocolate was mediocre (weak) and expensive. You have to wait 5 minutes to pay while the owner chats with her friend. Avoid this place…

20/02/2026: We just had pizzas and a salad delivered, and frankly, I don't recommend this place. The pizzas are tasteless and very sparsely topped, so you need to drink plenty of water while eating them (cheese pizza and mountain pizza). And the salad… what can I say? It was very poorly dressed and had very little filling. In short… everything needs improvement. Once bitten, twice shy…
