08/05/2026: On our return from Valencia, we made a quick stop to share lunch with our students from the Pyrenees. A very pleasant surprise, a very warm welcome, and we found a table without a reservation despite the restaurant being full. A lovely, friendly, and family atmosphere. We loved the set menu for €18.50 (starter, main course, and dessert): charcuterie platter or Caesar salad, flank steak with fries or pollack fillet with saffron rice, and panna cod with red berries or floating island. A generous and delicious meal. For 4 people: aperitif + set menu + coffee - €110. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely stop by the rally again when I visit my daughter in Spain. 28/06/2026: A small restaurant where the owners are happy to welcome you. I have nothing but praise for both the food and the service... I was delighted with my visit to Sowok. The only downside is the difficulty finding parking.

11/06/2026: The food was delicious, but the coffee was terrible. Much too hot. There are two or three seats, but not many more than that.

30/05/2026: A small hotel with a beautiful view of Port-Vieux Beach. We had a deluxe room, plenty of space, and it was very clean. All the amenities and furniture were in good condition. The breakfast was modest—continental—but reasonably priced. You can also order an omelet or other items from the menu for an extra fee. There's no elevator, but the staff carried our luggage up and out of the room. Overall, our stay was very good. I'd love to come back and spend more time there.

18/07/2026: I'm here right now and I was served by an absolutely lovely young man who remained polite and helpful even though a nasty customer spoke to him like he was a dog just before I paid. This man truly deserves a raise!

16/07/2026: The food is delicious, but there's a catch: at McDonald's, the tables, chairs, and sofas are dirty and full of crumbs.

20/11/2025: I'm giving one star for the staff's smiles. To begin with, there was no heating; we were told it would warm up with the crowds. No Beaujolais Nouveau was offered on its release day. There was no choice of menu; it was a set menu for workers, even though the website makes no mention of this and there's a nice menu with good ingredients. We managed to get the duck breast with honey sauce listed on the menu, but it didn't have the sauce. According to them, we should have specified when ordering that we wanted it. Apparently, according to the owner, this restaurant will close and reopen in January. It's best to wait for the reopening before going.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and they gave my little dog an exceptional welcome. Being from the area, I hadn't been before, but now I'm definitely going back. Thank you so much.

08/04/2026: They sell excellent goat cheese made right there in the village of Gavas. A great place to stop for a coffee or a meal. We've been buying cheese there for many years. Highly recommended!

29/03/2026: We had lunch as a family on Sunday; the meal was delicious, the day was sunny, and we ate on the terrace. The cuisine is traditional and of high quality. Be warned, the portions are generous! 😉

11/07/2026: Type 1 fun. The steak didn’t last long and neither did my clothes. The waiter recommended great wine and food followed by an array of aperitifs. My favourite was bright green and described as ‘gasoline’. There’s a wall of fame if you give it enough large ones post dinner they’ll get you up there. Italian chef was superb also.
