21/03/2026: I ordered the daily special, which was served swimming in oil, barely cooked, practically inedible, not to mention the rudeness of one of the waitresses. PS: Only the beer was good.

27/01/2026: I had the chance to have a coffee today. I ran into Ms. Smile. First off, no greeting, and then, her friendliness was just... wow! Madam, you should find another line of work...

20/05/2026: Served by two smiling and very friendly employees in the middle of the afternoon. A very good experience; I hope their efficiency and courtesy are duly recognized and rewarded by their manager!

14/05/2026: A lack of hygiene, flies in the bread bin, flies in the filling bins—I was told it was normal because the entrance door was open... more like a lack of hygiene... Do what's necessary, glass partitions to protect the food are basic. Also, they were very stingy with the portions, especially when the sandwich only had lettuce, tomatoes (4 tomato slices), olives (I had to ask three times for more olives), and ham and cheese. The establishment is supposed to close at 9:30 PM, but at 9:00 PM they clearly told us it was takeout only...

16/06/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I'm sorry, the hygiene, the food, and the sangria... leave much to be desired. Poor quality and badly cooked products... Thank goodness I didn't get sick from the bad fries and mussels (I only ate a quarter of them). The waiters were overwhelmed. It's very regrettable!!!

15/06/2026: A very mixed experience: think twice before going into this restaurant! The food is decent, but the service leaves much to be desired. One waiter (a man wearing strong glasses) was particularly unpleasant. He sighed when asked for something, and his attitude was clearly unprofessional. I witnessed a rather disturbing scene: some customers arrived and wanted to be seated. His colleague told them they could sit down, but the waiter refused. When his colleague confirmed that it was possible, he replied in front of the other customers, "Oh, you're annoying." This behavior is completely inappropriate in an establishment open to the public. Another worrying point: when paying, I advise you to carefully check your bill. For three dishes of mussels and fries at €16 each, totaling €48, the bill came to €53. Since the item on the till was simply labeled "Mussels," the error wasn't immediately obvious. After we pointed it out, the server corrected the bill without any explanation. Unfortunately, this experience leaves the impression of an establishment heavily geared towards tourists and lacking transparency with its customers. It's a shame, because with better service and more attention to detail, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

02/07/2026: Terrible service from a waiter in his fifties (Alberto)

01/07/2026: Very disappointing. We called the restaurant shortly before our planned meal to inquire about opening hours, and the person on the phone was extremely rude. Once we arrived, we wanted to order two seafood platters and a bottle of white wine. The waiter (Alberto) offered us a bottle for €50 instead of €20, as our first choice was out of stock. After our meal, we pointed out to the same waiter that we hadn't received any shrimp; his response was, "Oh yes, we were out of stock." We hadn't been informed of this at the time of our order. In conclusion, the service was appalling! We do not recommend it.

29/06/2026: The cutlery and glasses are disgusting. The person serving you food doesn't know what a chicken leg is.

29/06/2026: Good evening, it's getting worse and worse, a big zero. The cashier was unpleasant, not even a smile. Then there was the cook who said there would be a wait because he was the only one. The only pleasant person was the man wiping the tables. I will never eat there again, even if I'm invited. The fries and vegetables were cold, and the tiramisu dessert was inedible. Flunch is finished, avoid it at all costs. It's a shame because it used to be great.

19/06/2026: Lovely location but facility are bit past its prime.

31/05/2026: A beautiful old building which has sadly gone to ruin. Clearly the owner does not want to spend a cent on basic maintenance and upkeep. It was sweltering and the ducted aircon does not work so we had a portable air-con unit in our room which vented to outside through our open balcony door hence making it completely redundant. The mini bar did not work, the pillows were a million years old, the beds were not comfortable and the shower head could not be fixed to the wall. The pool was green, full of algae and mould and clearly hadn't been cleaned or used for a long time. The gym completely unusable. It's heartbreaking as the building and grounds are gorgeous. I would not stay here. Find another hotel in town.

14/03/2026: My son just bought two baguettes, supposedly identical, and when we went to have them for breakfast, one of them was inedible. It was hard, stale bread. It's a shame because we're regulars at this place. But now we won't be. Is it because he's a child and children can be taken advantage of?

07/03/2026: Lunch on the terrace overlooking the slopes. Quick, efficient, and friendly service. The food is good and reasonably priced. Very satisfied with this place.

29/12/2025: Hearty and delicious "family-style" dishes. The garbure-style soup is amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed it. A huge thank you for your kindness and warm welcome, always with a smile and a good dose of humor.

25/10/2025: A traditional, family-run brasserie with a deliberately limited selection of food options. We love the simplicity of simple, home-style cooking. Very pleasant and respectful service.

04/05/2026: The flammekueche could be improved; there wasn't enough topping, and you ended up eating more pasta than anything else. It's inexpensive, and you can see why. Add more toppings and raise the price, and I'll come back. The other pizzas in my order were good.

04/05/2026: An automated pizza maker does a better job (flamenkuche without sauce, as dry as a brioche bun). However, the pizza arrived on time.

06/06/2026: Today we spent €150 for three people, waiting for the owner's round of drinks... €18 for three beers and a Perrier... We won't be back!

05/06/2026: €12 for a beer? Next time I'll go to Blue Cargo. At least there they're not pretending, it's really for Parisians. They don't play on the "local" angle to attract crowds.

07/10/2025: After taking the little train, we sat down at 7 p.m. on the terrace and asked for a drink and crepes. The owner refused, saying that it was time for the evening service and that it was too late. We stopped at the Hermine chalet a little further down where we were very well received and where we were able to eat our crepe and drink with the smile and good humor of the waitress.
