18/09/2024: Not great white bread. Pastries in the sun even if they are refrigerated, perhaps I should not have noticed them during my visit🤔 In addition, no respect for the people who take the trouble to travel to apply and do a test. As no response from the manager despite my 2 reminders, I leave this notice to let people know the lack of humanity that reigns there... no wonder the salespeople do not stay. For my part, I was not a customer but I know that will never be the case.

31/08/2024: A good little restaurant and a beautiful menu 👌 Copious plates and the sangria served in a great soup pot I really liked, it's original 😉 I'll come back 👍

29/08/2024: A place to eat simply, the quality of the meals is relative to their price. For years the dishes have been the same so no surprises, but it meets a request. Concerning the welcome which is the subject of criticism, it is rather sober but courteous, as much as the arrogant behavior of certain tourists who settle in and leave without ordering...everything is explained.

28/06/2025: Unfriendly staff. Dirty tables, and the staff waits until the trash can is overflowing to empty it. And the Elixir is just a joke. For €4, they give you syrups, ice cubes, and half a lemon slice with a few ice cubes. At that price, I would have preferred freshly squeezed orange juice. Plus, the taste wasn't particularly pleasant... I won't be going back.

03/05/2025: Very disappointed with our sandwich, my daughter and I had the same one. Good cucumber/salmon sandwich but the bread was very dry. We threw away almost half. My mother shaved emmental ham

23/08/2024: Having reached the city center of Bayonne from the station, I had never noticed this small bakery. I will come back now because the cakes are very good! You can really taste the butter in the Basque cake and they are quite crunchy...

17/08/2024: Little choice of snacks. Flavorless sandwiches and soft crunches. Unwelcoming and unaccommodating shopkeeper. Dining table outside.

14/09/2024: Commande et livraison à domicile : ce n'est pas mauvais, loin de là, mais au prix ou c'est, j'en ai franchement raz le bol d'avoir des produits qui manquent à la commande. C'est dommage, d'autant que nos réclamations ne sont pas prises en compte... fini You Sushi.

04/09/2024: I should refrain from giving my opinion but my conscience requires me otherwise. Friday the 30th, my wife and I decided to have a Japanese dinner at You Sushi where we had never been disappointed. It is 8 p.m., the manager (whom I had never seen before) welcomes us and comes to take the order for aperitifs which she brings to us a few minutes later and asks us if we are ready to order. I order 2 Miso soups, a seaweed salad, 2 sashimi, answer: “There are no more.” “In that case we’ll have tuna ceviche.” “There aren’t any left either, we were robbed with the big fire sale.” I tell her that she should have informed us before we sat down and I cancel the order, telling her: "we will finish our drinks and go to dinner elsewhere". At the checkout and very annoyed by this situation, I asked her if she would offer us the glass of red wine and the can of mineral water for her "failure". She responds to me grumbling: “why would I do that”? I told him it didn't matter, I would pay for the drinks and write a comment on the web. She replies irritated: “It’s okay, leave, I won’t take it from you”. A commercial gesture must be made with a smile and in good faith, which was not the case. As the sale is not a last minute event, I question her abilities as a manager and stock manager. This is why I wanted to warn the public to ask the reception what is not on the menu before sitting down at the table. The aggressive response from the manager/owner (DS I suppose) encourages me to modify my review and add the following, but I won't waste too much time. In fact, the person seems to only accept good reviews and her professional conscience as a good businesswoman makes me smile. she should know that criticism can be constructive and promote improvement. If no one tells her she has bad breath; she would probably never know. In any case; In her place I would have tried to contact her, apologize to her and invite her to come back with special mention to the staff but her response has the completely opposite effect. We, who used to go there quite often because I am fond of this food, will never go back there again but that doesn't matter; there are plenty of other pigeons.

23/10/2024: Long waiting time And pizza in the oven several times, I do not recommend this pizzeria

26/08/2024: Pizzas expensive and not even good. The dough is as thin as a sheet. I was still hungry.

31/08/2024: Our favorite pizzeria in Biarritz. Wonderful price-quality, the place is spacious, quiet and clean. Super friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the Santa Lucía pizza and the Italian pizza, both totally recommended. Essential place on your visit to Biarritz.

31/08/2024: The pizzeria surprised me a lot, they have several options such as hamburger, calzone, etc. Every time I go to Biarritz I go to eat there. I really like the attention and the place; A plus is that my French is not very good, but Kevin has good Spanish and helps me choose the best option.

02/09/2024: Bread was stale, fish under seasoned, potatoes undercooked, warm veggies overcooked and soggie.

26/08/2024: Starter and main course good but nothing more… … AND ESPECIALLY IN TOO SMALL QUANTITY COMPARED TO THE PRICE!!! The problem is the dessert... I ordered a crepe thinking it was a homemade crepe because there was nothing indicated on the menu! But it's quite the opposite, this pancake must have been bought at Lidl 3 days ago... almost no chocolate on it, dry as paper!!! For the first time in my life I had trouble eating my crepe!!! I do not recommend this restaurant at all!

25/09/2024: I just placed an order for home delivery for €35 and just 2 pasta dishes and nothing in the 2 boxes. 1st and last time I order….

08/09/2024: A change of ownership must have taken place because it is no longer the restaurant where we used to be. Unfortunately a change not for the better with an ordinary and tasteless axoa, the worst crème brûlée I have eaten and squids which made my wife vomit all night.

31/08/2024: Restaurant visited on 08/30. I chose the bodega menu: - as a starter: chipirons and smelt -> very good. For people who eat salty foods, it would be better to ask for some. - main course: paella. -> not good. Apart from the cod which was good, the rest is not paella. Do not recommend their paella. A paella served in a Moroccan dish. - dessert: crème brûlée, my favorite dessert -> very bad. I only took one bite. A crème brûlée that arrived very cold, the cream is not creamy. I reported this to the waiter and his manager who took the criticism very poorly. Ultimately, we should have offered another dessert as a replacement/not charged for it and apologized. So disappointed I didn't take a photo of the crème brûlée

22/09/2024: Quality hotel, very nice room. Room not ready when we arrived and disappointing breakfast. No pastries

02/09/2024: The hotel is very well located. On the other hand, it is shabby. Our room did not lock on several occasions. We realized this when we left the room and checked that no one could enter. The first time we were given a handle (?!!) to open it ourselves while it was repaired the next day. The 2nd time they really fixed the problem. In itself it's not extremely serious, it's just not very reassuring to know that anyone can enter your room. The room itself… very damp, broken shutter (impossible to close), and certain broken or damaged elements (handles, etc.). Will I go back? Perhaps, the hotel is very well located between the forest and the beach, you can do everything on foot. But I wouldn't particularly recommend this hotel if you find something else nearby.
