28/09/2026: Matchas are very worth it ! I recommand matcha with strawberry and coconut milk. Incredible ! Paninis are okayish.

27/09/2026: We had already found this place on social media and it surprised us. We didn't eat; we ordered a matcha with coconut water and a caramel latte, and the flavor was incredible. The price is a bit high, but it's worth it for the experience.

10/08/2026: Honest pub, with happy hour from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM... Right next to the Pau promenade. We took advantage of it for a couple of pints.

25/12/2025: Is it still open?! On December 24th, it was listed as open until 6 PM on Google's special hours for that day, but in the end, the doors were closed. Not a word, nothing. Nobody there, even though we had driven across town to get there 😭 with my parents, who live 800km away and adore Pailhasson chocolates from Pau... I've been a customer since 2020, first in Tarbes and then in Pau, and I was so disappointed myself.

07/11/2025: Shop closed. Incorrect opening hours. I made a special trip... frustrating.

30/05/2026: A small hotel with a beautiful view of Port-Vieux Beach. We had a deluxe room, plenty of space, and it was very clean. All the amenities and furniture were in good condition. The breakfast was modest—continental—but reasonably priced. You can also order an omelet or other items from the menu for an extra fee. There's no elevator, but the staff carried our luggage up and out of the room. Overall, our stay was very good. I'd love to come back and spend more time there.

25/05/2026: Dinner with friends, delicious cocktails, excellent food, and top-notch service with great wine recommendations. Bravo and thank you! The view, of course, only added to the pleasure...

11/10/2026: The Café Central became our favorite cafe during September '26 when we rented an apartment nearby. We went here almost every morning for coffee, croissants, and fresh squeezed orange juice and we also enjoyed many meals here that were consistently excellent. The servers were all great,( special shout out to Regis!) and the managers always made us feel welcome. My favorite dish on the menu is the duck confit. They have an excellent happy hour, it's a great place to have a pint of Grimbergen and watch the people (and dogs!) go by on the Rue Cler.

11/10/2026: Great location but the staff will try to scam you if you're foreign. They came to me today, called out 101 euros and when I requested the bill, it was 83.50. Could be great, ended up to be a 1 star. Stay away

12/09/2026: INEDIBLE!! FRIES UNDERCOOKED, NO ONE JUST LAUGHING AT YOU, INCOMPETENT THE BURGER WAS HORRIBLE, THE WORST MCDONALD'S OF MY LIFE I never leave reviews, but honestly, I've never been so disappointed, and the staff were disrespectful!

12/09/2026: Waiting 25 minutes for a cheeseburger! Not a single car in front of me! Four behind me! Nobody even acknowledges me! It just keeps getting better after paying a fortune for food that's always cold, and the preparation... I won't even mention it!

03/10/2026: A disgrace! 22 euros for an industrial crepe with boiled potatoes and a so-called confit sausage (1/3 of a sausage was rock hard and inedible).

03/10/2026: An industrial crepe, 3 tons of potatoes, 4 or 5 slices of sausage, for dessert 2 scoops of ice cream, 22 euros, and that's the only menu available, what a businessman.

17/08/2026: While passing through the Pau market, I was drawn to a stall proudly displaying "homemade spring rolls." The result: a wait of over 15 minutes just to have pre-cooked items reheated. The food itself was a real disappointment: spring rolls swimming in oil and practically empty (I've had much better frozen ones), and steamed dumplings reheated so many times they had the texture of cardboard. Nothing was right, neither the service nor the quality of the food. I left my plate full. I absolutely do not recommend it; just because the accent is nice doesn't mean the food will be good.

23/06/2026: Excellent little spot, lovely terrace, and the owner is delightful! The tea was excellent, and the gazelle horn pastry too. We highly recommend it and will gladly return! 🌞
