14/08/2026: A real disappointment. Don't be fooled by the attractive prices: everything seems to have come straight from the freezer. The fish soup was just water mixed with bones and unblended flesh, the sea bream and fries were tasteless, and the baby squid were swimming in their own defrosting liquid. Absolutely no flavor from start to finish. Avoid at all costs. I hope your next restaurant will redeem this bad experience with truly fresh ingredients!

11/08/2026: Simple coffee, a bit bitter but decent for the price. The "hello, goodbye" service is complicated, especially on the phone.

08/02/2026: Honestly, I think the photo speaks for itself. What kind of disrespect is that? 15 bucks for two sandwich meals. A slice of rosette sausage cut in half and a gherkin cut in half. Is this some kind of hidden camera prank?

17/08/2026: The food was good overall, but the portions were small. Even though the set menu seemed attractively priced, we were left wanting more at the end (despite having a starter, main course, and dessert). This is unacceptable for an €80 meal. It felt like being in a broth where you have to order everything from starter to dessert right away, and the courses follow one another without a break. The homemade iced tea wasn't great, but the paella and baby squid were good despite the small portions.

16/08/2026: Waitress who dares to raise her voice at customers who don't move away quickly enough for her liking...once, why not, three times is a bit much.

02/08/2026: We went for the set menu, which costs almost €30, and we were very disappointed. The portion sizes are ridiculous. If you order eggs, they literally serve you a single egg cut in half. If you choose the prawns, they give you only three, just a handful, grilled. Furthermore, they serve tap water, which is surprising considering the price of the set menu. The second course was slightly better in terms of quantity, but the food arrived burnt, which only worsened the experience. In short, very poor value for money. For almost €30, I expected a generous and well-prepared meal, not to leave feeling like I'd paid a lot for very little and very bad food. A rather disappointing experience.

02/08/2026: Average. The service was very slow, 45 minutes between courses. The fries were too dry. The rest was good. The welcome was good, the staff friendly, but surely overwhelmed.

19/07/2026: I didn't have the bad experiences some people have. There were four of us, and we ordered four ice creams to go (delicious). Yes, they don't accept credit cards, but it's clearly stated, so there's no point in complaining...

14/07/2026: ⭐⭐ I've always been very satisfied with La Tour de Pise, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. A delivery was scheduled for 8:30 pm, but we had to wait until 9 pm. We were told that the pizzas had already been in the car during a previous delivery. I think the ham and cheese didn't hold up well in the heat. I've been sick ever since. It's a real shame, because until now I'd never been disappointed. I was very disappointed by the behavior of this new person at the counter; no "Good evening," no "Goodbye," a total and unpleasant lack of respect.

12/07/2026: Everything was very good, efficient, and friendly; however, the takeaway salad had far too much vinegar for the container! This unfortunately made my croutons soggy. Otherwise, the salad was fresh and the dressing was very good! (Any mistake is forgivable 😊) I recommend it.

21/10/2025: Never seen anything like it. Nonexistent service, sloppy cooking, no consideration for the customer. Scalding hot, overcooked, limp prawns, thrown unpeeled on two wilted salad leaves—it was supposed to be prawn salad. Seriously? The kids' menu? An insult. Nothing good, everything is greasy and full of oil, not even the bare minimum. We ended up laughing about it, but in hindsight: a sandwich bought in a bakery, facing the sea, would have been a feast compared to this. Move on. There are much better options—everywhere else.

19/10/2025: Very disappointed... a sharing platter... or not! Only enough for one person for €19! The monkfish tail with chorizo, cooked on the griddle, was burnt and tiny for €20. The children's menu of chicken and fries... as well-cooked as the fish, which came with an ice cream stick. €13... a bit steep! The table was wobbly and the chairs uncomfortable... despite having a reservation, we ended up with chairs and tables pushed aside (which is a shame). Luckily, the rosé was good! 🤣

13/04/2026: Jack is a very good shopkeeper, polite, kind, and welcoming. He cannot be held responsible for discussions that take place behind his counter or in front of his shop with people who feel attacked because of their so-called disability, which is nothing more than their laziness, which they use as a crutch and which allows them to live off the backs of society. 11/07/2026: So… I might be lucky, judging by some of the reviews, but every time I go, I'm never disappointed! That said, I don't get sandwiches, bread, or croissants, so I can't comment on those, but their Basque cream cake is my absolute favorite! And I've tried quite a few… and the "Russian" cake is a delight, truly like the ones my Russian neighbors used to make when I lived with them a long time ago (but you have to like cream and hazelnuts 😉). All this at a very reasonable price.

11/07/2026: The welcome wasn't the warmest, but it was still acceptable. We ordered some specialty breads; they were good, but there was indeed a slight taste on the bottom of the loaf. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'd say it was a mixture of yeast and old flour. A good cleaning or replacing the baking mats would certainly be necessary. It's a shame because otherwise, the breads are good.

30/08/2026: A very warm welcome. Good, fresh, and local produce. Simple but very tasty and generous cuisine.

30/08/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely mountain atmosphere. It's located right at the bottom of the cable car exit, which is very convenient! The service is very friendly and the food is tasty and plentiful. We had a very enjoyable dinner.

17/05/2026: Inadequate service. I agree with one of the comments. They prioritize Tamils. There's a difference in treatment depending on ethnicity. The receptionist was extremely rude. The Vadai were hard, so definitely not fresh...

04/08/2026: I was a loyal customer until this year, but I'll never set foot in there again. The prices are exorbitant for products that are almost never local, and not even French! They're very often out of stock. And almost every time, there are mistakes at the till where they charge much more for an item than what you actually bought. In the end, I asked for the receipt every time, and every time there was a mistake. When I see the other similar comments, it can't be a coincidence. It's shameful to treat customers like that. We really should boycott them to support local producers, who are better, much cheaper, and lovely, like at Elizaldia Farm.

15/06/2026: Two very pleasant salespeople who say hello and smile, but the gentleman at the register with long hair is rude, unpleasant, and has a disdainful look. It's probably too late to teach him manners, but a little courtesy never hurt anyone. 💋

30/12/2025: Cold at first but friendly once you get to know them a little, I didn't taste the food.
