19/07/2026: The best Basque cake in the region, if not in all of France. Smooth almond cream, delicately flavored with a subtle and delicious bitter almond taste. Delicious biscuits. Truly a delight that you can eat even when you're not hungry!

23/07/2026: My wife and I ordered two sandwiches, €7.40 each. We asked if it was possible to get some raw vegetables, and they agreed. We got lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of olive oil. The final price was €10 per sandwich. The same sandwiches without olive oil were €7.50 at a higher altitude. We pointed this out, but apparently it's normal. The sandwiches were good. Thankfully! But they weren't very customer-oriented.

18/07/2026: If you're a junk food adventurer, you can try the pan bagnat, which had been wrapped in cellophane for two days (the packer thoughtfully put a label underneath with the packaging and expiration dates, something I only discovered 50 km later). Otherwise, you can opt for a salad if you're not afraid of a few blackened leaves topped with three awful pieces of chicken, all at a premium price. I stopped by this morning with my family to pick up our lunch, but unfortunately, the manager wasn't there this afternoon for me to share my experience. The young waiter was very helpful when I asked him to pass it on (this is the first time I've ever left a negative review on Google).

16/07/2026: I've been coming to this bakery for over a decade, both morning and noon. Today, I was greeted by a new waitress who was absolutely unpleasant; she didn't even say "Hello," she just snatched my receipt out of my hand. I came to pick up an order of pastries, which she delivered in a cardboard box! Surprised, I told her, "I thought they would be bagged," and she replied, "No, not at all." For your information, my orders have always been delivered in bags. To top it all off, no thank you, no goodbye. It's a shame because the owner is very nice.

17/07/2026: I stopped to get a sandwich. Given what was left, I ordered chicken wraps. The wrap, and not just at this bakery, is a real rip-off. Considering the size of the chicken inside. Luckily, the taste was good. I won't be having my lunch break there again. Very friendly service.

12/06/2026: Pretty good bakery, but be warned, I asked for a vegetarian quiche to take away, and they sold me a tuna quiche!!!!

20/07/2026: We went there as a group of 10 to eat. The owner clearly told us he didn't want to move the tables and that there would be at least a 1-hour wait, so we turned around. The welcome wasn't warm; we wondered if this gentleman even wanted to work. The floor was also barely clean. Avoid this place.

14/08/2026: A real disappointment. Don't be fooled by the attractive prices: everything seems to have come straight from the freezer. The fish soup was just water mixed with bones and unblended flesh, the sea bream and fries were tasteless, and the baby squid were swimming in their own defrosting liquid. Absolutely no flavor from start to finish. Avoid at all costs. I hope your next restaurant will redeem this bad experience with truly fresh ingredients!

27/07/2026: Mediocre, tasteless mussels marinière, an extra piece of plastic in the salmon and leek lasagna… Then a 20-minute wait despite several calls to staff to take an order… in short, avoid at all costs!

26/07/2026: I've known this restaurant since childhood. It already had a dubious reputation. Returning to the area for the holidays, we decided to give it another chance. There were three of us at 9:15 PM, and the restaurant wasn't full. Only one of us wanted a main course; the other two planned to order desserts and drinks. The waitress told us this was forbidden because ordering a main course was mandatory. We left immediately. I've never seen such appalling service and such demanding behavior in a restaurant of this caliber (is it even legal?). I strongly advise against going there, especially since there are plenty of pizzerias and restaurants with much better service in the area.

03/08/2026: 0% recommended. We sat for 45 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. They served tables that arrived later. I went to ask for takeout and they told me I had to wait my turn. Terrible service.

03/08/2026: We had a truly awful experience. We had to wait to be served before even sitting down, as we had to approach the table to ask. After sitting down, 17 minutes passed and no one had come to our table yet. After insisting, they brought the menu, and 23 minutes later, no one had approached our table. When we complained, they told us we had to wait our turn, but excuse us, three tables were seated after us, and two of them already had their food on the table when we got up to ask them to please take our order, as we had a hungry two-year-old with us. They rudely told us we couldn't get takeout, that we could only wait, and in a very impolite way, they asked if we had time.

17/05/2026: Awful. I'm not usually picky, but honestly, don't go there. The price seems attractive with their €19.90 set menu: starter + main course + dessert. It's easy to see why. - The salad and deviled eggs were completely processed, minimalist, and uninteresting. - The chorizo ​​burgers were clearly frozen. Ours were identical, a truly astonishing comparison. They didn't even ask how we wanted them cooked. - The rice pudding was mushy, with an awful texture. The dessert in a glass contained a quarter of a soft white cheese at the bottom, not even fresh—I pointed it out to the waiter—accompanied by a so-called red fruit coulis. Despite everything, the waiters were friendly. Two desserts were wandering around the room because they couldn't remember which table they were for… they finally brought us an extra rice pudding. At least it gave us a chance to laugh with the other diners and the staff. The restrooms were filthy. I even saw a waiter wipe his hands on his apron as he came out of the restroom. We also got yelled at by the neighbor because our table was under his bedroom window! At least we'll remember it!

15/05/2026: We were asked to come inside when we looked at the menus outside. We ordered two set menus; while the starters were more or less fine, my Basque chicken arrived lukewarm, and the mussels for my husband were completely cold, so we sent them back for a warmer dish. After five minutes, the dish returned just as cold, so we decided to cut our lunch short. The owner listened to us and charged us for the dishes we had eaten and drunk from the menu. We were therefore at a loss.

19/07/2026: I didn't have the bad experiences some people have. There were four of us, and we ordered four ice creams to go (delicious). Yes, they don't accept credit cards, but it's clearly stated, so there's no point in complaining...

02/08/2026: Average. The service was very slow, 45 minutes between courses. The fries were too dry. The rest was good. The welcome was good, the staff friendly, but surely overwhelmed.

02/08/2026: We went for the set menu, which costs almost €30, and we were very disappointed. The portion sizes are ridiculous. If you order eggs, they literally serve you a single egg cut in half. If you choose the prawns, they give you only three, just a handful, grilled. Furthermore, they serve tap water, which is surprising considering the price of the set menu. The second course was slightly better in terms of quantity, but the food arrived burnt, which only worsened the experience. In short, very poor value for money. For almost €30, I expected a generous and well-prepared meal, not to leave feeling like I'd paid a lot for very little and very bad food. A rather disappointing experience.

14/07/2026: ⭐⭐ I've always been very satisfied with La Tour de Pise, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. A delivery was scheduled for 8:30 pm, but we had to wait until 9 pm. We were told that the pizzas had already been in the car during a previous delivery. I think the ham and cheese didn't hold up well in the heat. I've been sick ever since. It's a real shame, because until now I'd never been disappointed. I was very disappointed by the behavior of this new person at the counter; no "Good evening," no "Goodbye," a total and unpleasant lack of respect.

12/07/2026: Everything was very good, efficient, and friendly; however, the takeaway salad had far too much vinegar for the container! This unfortunately made my croutons soggy. Otherwise, the salad was fresh and the dressing was very good! (Any mistake is forgivable 😊) I recommend it.
