21/07/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. The burger was way overcooked, the bun was hard, I didn't even want to eat it, I just wanted to leave and pay without eating.

03/07/2026: I placed my order at 7:45 PM and was told it would take 45 minutes. My order, delivered by Uber Eats, finally arrived at 9:40 PM, almost two hours later. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with Uber Eats. During a previous order from another restaurant, the delivery driver simply left with my order. At this point, the problem seems to lie more with the delivery method than with the restaurant itself. Relying exclusively on Uber Eats to reduce staffing costs comes at the expense of service quality and the customer experience. It's truly a shame.

27/06/2026: We went for dinner because we were staying at a nearby campsite and we were very comfortable. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, the food was served quickly and everything was delicious. A bit pricey, but the portions are generous.

09/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We ordered takeaway pizzas and, unfortunately, the quality was really lacking: the dough and toppings were very disappointing, to the point that some frozen pizzas are better. As for wine, only one selection was offered, and it was frankly very bad and overpriced. The only positive point was that the staff were friendly and welcoming. But friendliness alone is unfortunately not enough: the restaurant business requires real expertise.

30/07/2026: The food on the plates wasn't enough to justify the price of the dishes; I should have read the previous reviews, oh well, our loss. For €12 in the Ardèche region, with nice fries and local goat cheese, I got the burger pictured, which is quite relevant considering what you serve and its price. Since you're being disingenuous, I suggest you look at the comments and reviews I usually leave. Instead of defending yourself by saying I'm rarely satisfied, I suggest you reflect on your own performance.

19/06/2026: Lovely location but facility are bit past its prime.

31/05/2026: A beautiful old building which has sadly gone to ruin. Clearly the owner does not want to spend a cent on basic maintenance and upkeep. It was sweltering and the ducted aircon does not work so we had a portable air-con unit in our room which vented to outside through our open balcony door hence making it completely redundant. The mini bar did not work, the pillows were a million years old, the beds were not comfortable and the shower head could not be fixed to the wall. The pool was green, full of algae and mould and clearly hadn't been cleaned or used for a long time. The gym completely unusable. It's heartbreaking as the building and grounds are gorgeous. I would not stay here. Find another hotel in town.

22/07/2026: A great, underrated restaurant. We had a platter (normally meant to be shared) and garlic prawns. Everything was delicious and very (too) generous portions, all for €55. What more could you ask for in peak season? A pleasant surprise. Well done!

21/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our meal. The sangria wasn't cold enough, we waited a long time for the appetizer platter, and to top it all off, the mussels were undercooked and there weren't enough of them! There were no finger bowls. When the waitress asked if everything was alright, she didn't even bother to clear our plates. Avoid this place!

14/03/2026: My son just bought two baguettes, supposedly identical, and when we went to have them for breakfast, one of them was inedible. It was hard, stale bread. It's a shame because we're regulars at this place. But now we won't be. Is it because he's a child and children can be taken advantage of?

07/03/2026: Lunch on the terrace overlooking the slopes. Quick, efficient, and friendly service. The food is good and reasonably priced. Very satisfied with this place.

20/02/2026: Booked for about two months, impossible to sleep at night, an alarm goes off all night. The alarm is from the Leroy Merlin store next door. I'm changing hotels.

01/06/2026: We only went for afternoon tea. We had three ice cream sundaes. They were very good, no complaints, reasonably priced, and they accepted holiday vouchers.

01/08/2026: This place is best avoided. The bar is located in a back alley with no view, yet it charges exorbitant prices. The wait is endless, the cocktails are poorly made (bad proportions, no balance), and the tapas are overpriced for the mediocre portions and quality. It's hard to see what could possibly justify such prices. I absolutely do not recommend it.

26/07/2026: Bar at Pau Castle with reasonable prices. A very good view. Pleasant and high-quality service.

23/07/2026: The tanned, 6'6" (1.90 kg) waiter, very unpleasant, turned around and called me, and I quote, a "f2p" because I had ordered a new drink and he had already noted it on his tablet.

22/07/2026: 5:30 PM Table barely cleared... Probably never cleaned... Service with a sour face... Drink quality 😵‍💫

15/07/2026: The bar has a good atmosphere, however the staff should pay attention to their personal lives which seem to be detrimental to the customers.

13/06/2026: Excellent, they offer great food, and the bartender and waitress are lovely (5/5): here for the Section Paloise vs. Racing 92 match.
