18/08/2024: Une nouvelle visite dans ce restaurant les pâtes sont toujours aussi bonnes ainsi que la piadina, nature ou au chocolat en dessert. Le mascarpone avec son coulis a aussi fait le bonheur de mes papilles .Le tout arrosé de bière avec un petit café pour une addition en dessous de 50€.

25/08/2024: When a 104-year-old lady tells you she wants to go to a restaurant, and if it's your mother, you make a reservation... In this case, in the nearest restaurant... And there! Very very nice surprise! Jarapea, Irouleguy! I recommend ++++ ) the cook learned his lessons with the biggest before opening his table (22 seats maximum, just 1 menu at €35 and no menu,) A wonderful address!!!

29/09/2024: I went to eat there on Saturday the 29th. The menu, "sirloin steak," was a tiny piece of meat that bore no resemblance to a sirloin steak—a small, tasteless shoe leather—and tasteless frozen fries, all for 13 euros. I didn't go any further than that. Plus, my credit card wasn't working. No one told me anything when I arrived. I suppose they're just doing some under-the-table work at the neighbor's place. I had a coffee there, and it worked. The unpleasant owner came over with a piece of plastic, showed me that it was indeed the sirloin steak, and offered nothing else. It's outrageous.

19/09/2024: A very nice place with a shaded terrace. We received a very warm welcome and the menu was simple but excellent. We ate very well. And the staff were very friendly, well done!

06/10/2025: Very warm welcome and well-equipped, comfortable rooms. We were lucky to have stayed while the hotel hosted a basque fête replete with a huge paella au feu, along with dancing and singing! An excellent place to stop along the chemin.

29/08/2024: A place to eat simply, the quality of the meals is relative to their price. For years the dishes have been the same so no surprises, but it meets a request. Concerning the welcome which is the subject of criticism, it is rather sober but courteous, as much as the arrogant behavior of certain tourists who settle in and leave without ordering...everything is explained.

01/11/2024: Seul resto ouvert ! Plats à emporter possibles : burger/frites et dessert. Super bon, produits locaux, accueil au top, chaleureux. Merci encore !

20/10/2024: Ouvert en Hors saison, quand tout est fermé autour. La planche duo en guise d'apero à ravi les papilles des fans de fromage. Pour la suite nous avons été plus classique avec nos entrecôtes. Cuisson respectée, sauce béarnaise, c'est du local. Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux, les conseils sur les artisans du coin. La mascotte à 4 pattes nous a bien amusé.. Leur intérieur est plus grand que ce que vous apercevez par la fenêtre...la déco participe à l'ambiance chalet montagnard. Mon dessert a la châtaigne était léger et parfait. Merci. Adresse à garder.

01/11/2025: We stayed one night at this hotel, and Karmele was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. We slept wonderfully, enjoying the peace and quiet. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious and varied breakfast before our excursion to the Rhune train, which is just a 10-minute drive away. Thank you for everything! Ezkerrik asko! 26/10/2025: Charming hotel 😊 The owner's welcome was wonderful 😊 The room was spotlessly clean Generous breakfast (cold cuts, cheese, omelet, cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bread, butter, jam, Basque cake), coffee, tea, hot chocolate... A little country corner with a mountain view 🗻.. We stayed for a whole weekend with my family 😊.. It was truly great 👍.. We'll keep the address.... See you soon..... Thank you...
