02/07/2024: As two cycling couples we stayed for five nights in the rooms above Café Velo. Our beds were super comfy and made up with sheets and a throw (instead of a duvet) just as requested. Both rooms were clean, spacious and well-equipped (with the added advantage of a shared kitchen). The bathrooms also worked well – great shower, and all the sockets and hooks in the right places! We ate in the café on our first evening – lovely simple small plates with glasses of fabulous wine. We also had delicious breakfasts sitting outside overlooking the river. Truly wonderful banana loaf! The locking garage was a real bonus for our bikes. Anna and Charles couldn’t have been more welcoming – and we look forward to a return visit!

10/06/2024: Stopped for a late lunch and a drink. Service and food was very good. Location facing the river and bridge made the cafe very accessible. Staff spoke good English.

27/08/2024: We came "accidentally" because we had 3 hours between two trains. It was magnificent. Excellent quality - quantity - price ratio. Everything was delicious, we indulged and paid around 50 euros for 4 people. Better to aim for quiet hours because every dish is prepared and I would say the wait would be long if it's full. The server was also great and super friendly

24/08/2024: Poor service. 1 hour wait for disappointing dishes. Lean dishes with few garnishes. To flee.

21/02/2026: Nuno - what an amazing man. Home away from home. For a chilled beer, a bit of football, a couple games - nuno has you covered.

24/01/2026: The foosball table was in excellent condition! And we were very well received and served!

07/09/2024: Le chef est aussi au service et donc le seul maître des lieux. Ce que l’on appelle être au four et au moulin mais avec une réussite totale. De la mise en bouche au dessert, on découvre, on est surpris et on en redemande ! Je souhaite à chacun de venir découvrir ces alliances de saveurs. Les plats sont joliment dressés aussi les yeux nous préparent avec délectation. Les vins sont choisis par le chef et sont en parfaite adéquation. Un des must-restaurants de Toulouse que l’on doit visiter quand on aime la finesse et les surprises. Les prix sont mesurés, en rapport de l’expérience.

15/10/2024: I have booked 2 nights with breakfast and dinner, To make it easy for those who are reading, I ran away after the first night without having breakfast or dinner. And he asked me to pay in advance so he knows people will run away ...... The smell is disgusting the building is too old the garden really big mess. There is not enough lighting.... It was a terrible experience and the worst part was expensive for nothing And the worst part is they don't have a toilet in the reception (which does not exist just a small desk in the restaurant ) so you have to go to your room. Anyway just don't go there guys

01/09/2024: Great and fun experience - service is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Mina , who is running the restaurant, is funny, charming and on top of the restaurant. Definitely would recommend!

01/09/2024: We were not able to try the restaurant's brunch. We made a reservation 15 days ago for brunch this Sunday 01/09. To our great surprise we received a call at 9:30 a.m. to tell us that brunch had not resumed and that it would resume in a week. I find it really unacceptable to warn us 3 hours before our reservation when the reservation was made more than 15 days ago. We therefore canceled and we were unable to book elsewhere given the delays.

31/01/2024: RUN AWAY!!! THE MANAGER IS CRAZY!!! A completely insane experience in this place. I approached to take a look, and the manager invited me to visit the rather charming establishment. I listened to him; he seemed interesting at first, talking about the Middle Ages, and offered me a cup of tea. I naively accepted. Then he launched into a completely bizarre tirade and, according to him, explained that very often, his female clients had sex with him and orgasmed without even touching each other, just by sitting on the sofa, which he then showed me. He specified that at his age, it was the only way he could experience pleasure… The scene was completely surreal. I thought I was hallucinating, and I had the impression he was trying to hypnotize me. I got up, and he asked me for 7 euros to pay for the tea that was supposed to be offered to me and whose sole purpose was to lure me into his clutches. The man even had the nerve to invite me for the weekend. In short, just another nutcase. Be very careful!!!
