30/04/2026: I came to eat butter chicken and was very surprised to see it served without rice. Butter chicken is normally always served with rice; it's an integral part of the dish. The rice was charged extra, which isn't indicated on the menu at all. This practice isn't normal and gives the impression that they're trying to charge for things that should be included. Furthermore, the rice wasn't served with another dish we ordered either, which confirms that it wasn't an oversight. It's a shame, because it spoils the experience and gives a bad impression. A little more transparency on the menu would be helpful. That said, the dish was good overall.

28/02/2026: A lovely discovery, by chance, during a trip to Strasbourg. Great atmosphere with 80s/90s remixes, and excellent tapas, everything for a great evening, even on a weekday, a Thursday for me.

26/02/2026: Excellent rediscovery! We knew the bar from our youth where we used to go dancing, but not the tapas side! The tapas were very good, and the owner was fantastic. We'll be back for the tapas and the themed evenings!

28/05/2026: Honestly, what a fantastic find at La Case de l’Île Bourbon! The dishes were truly delicious, generously portioned, and bursting with flavor. You can tell the food is made with love. I especially loved the Piña Colada punch—it was incredibly good, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is warm, and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back! 😊

16/05/2026: I tried the takeaway discovery menu as well as the flans, all washed down with a good bottle of Lebanese red. We were not disappointed. Next time we will eat there to discover a little more of the menu. I recommend it.

25/04/2026: We were at Charrue this evening and made a wonderful discovery: La Bouchée Printanière (The Spring Bite). A beautiful pastry crust made by the chef, with a delicious vol-au-vent sauce, morels, a chicken quenelle with truffle, and of course, seasonal green asparagus, served with fresh pasta. A sure bet, a must-try!

06/05/2026: We had the best time at this restaurant. Our favourite meal on our entire trip, in fact! It’s a little outside the main tourist area, so the food is a lot more authentic. The portions were generous, and you can tell the ingredients they use are super fresh. Highly recommend their salmon, and a crème brûlée for dessert. We were also able to have a lovely conversation with the kind waiter. While we dined, there was a regular customer there, which makes it an even better sign. Highly recommend this hidden gem when visiting Strasbourg!

05/05/2026: One word: excellent. Incredible welcome, delicious dishes, and a delectable homemade dessert too. Simply put, we want to go back. It's rare to find such good, well-prepared homemade food.

26/05/2026: Great location, friendly staff, and a fantastic breakfast. This is our second time here, which says a lot. The restaurant is also excellent, but it's not open every day. It's best to check beforehand. Reserving a table is recommended.
