27/08/2024: We had reservations for 5 people for lunch in August. We asked for a table inside as it was hot and my mother (75) was recovering. Denied ! “Today we only serve on the terrace…”. However, the tables were set inside…. Personally I feel a little suffocated on this enclosed terrace. Arriving at the table on the terrace, lots of wasps... we were told that "it's normal, it's nature..." 😬 The dishes arrive: I chose a vegetarian burger: the bread is like soufflé and therefore hollow and dry when cut, and frankly, charging €38 for that is shameful. Beautiful dessert buffet. I will not return there because we did not have the service up to a restaurant of this range and we really take the customer for a sucker… Which is fortunately not the case in all the restaurants in Megève 😊

26/08/2024: Very disappointed by our visit to this restaurant: - prices applied without any relation to the content/quality of the plate (for a few dozen € more, you have access to a (multi-)starred restaurant) - the most approximate service (at our table and those of the neighbors) - a buffet of desserts or cheese at 24€/person (we discovered the price on the bill), for which I had an assortment on a small plate and my wife 3 unfortunate slices of cheese. For those who are still motivated, know that it is at will, so don't deprive yourself. We hate to "stuff ourselves", but if we had known the price before, we would have returned several times! There you go, we did it because it seemed to us that it was a serious house, it was the last one. In short, to forget quickly

I'm sure the team are great but I felt quite ripped off, €12 for a plain omette with a few green leaves masquerading as a 'green salad'. It was nothing compared to the 12 euros my friend paid for a bowl of spaghetti with butter. Sure, the setting is amazing and isolated, but if the dishes cost less than €10 and the service was faster, I'd be happier. I hate moaning about places but this place wasn’t great. I’m sure the team are great but I felt pretty ripped off, €12 for a plain omette with a couple of green leaves masquerading as a “green salad”. For sure the setting is amazing and remote though but If dishes were under €10 and the service was faster id be more stoked.

05/03/2024: Good mountain restaurant which is self service only. However there are staff to help out and clear the tables who speak a variety of languages.

20/09/2024: !!! ATTENTION !!! Serve aged meat which is no longer edible!! I had a doubt when I unpacked a 280 (which also looked like nothing, it looks like they threw the elements instead of assembling them correctly, with respect for the consumer!! I would have eaten there I would have asked to do it again on the spot But let's admit...) When I took the first bite, I immediately had doubts about the quality of the meat which was also cold. Not missed!!! 4 hours later I'm sick!! Stomach aches and vomiting!!. Regarding consumers, RUN!!!!!!!!! Better to fast!!

25/07/2024: Vraiment super restaurant ! Tout est bon et on peut même couter des plats faits dans leur four traditionnel ! Le personnel est adorable , souriant et très agréable ! Je recommande fortement sinvs êtes dans le coin

01/04/2024: Disappointment this evening, my two poor baklava for 2€ each… or 4 euros per microscopic lot! And which in my opinion are not homemade… For the rest the meat is good.

16/03/2024: Tourist factory, 10 to 12€ more expensive than the cheese factory located 60 meters away. He only makes cheese slabs compared to what they present for sale. It is better to buy from small producers rather than from cooperatives (fruit producers are better). Disgusted with this place. Not even open year round. This is how small producers do not survive.

06/03/2024: We went there at the beginning of March to buy some cheese (Gruyère and Comté), and a sausage, we got it for 42.06. (More than 30 euros for 2 slices of cheese.) Exhorbitant price at first glance, but we decided to wait to taste the products. Cheese nothing more, and fatty and unripened sausage (the seller asked us to dry it for a few days, at this price we still expected it to be “done”)… Go your way!

08/03/2024: Waiting time too long. 7 at the table we were not served at the same time. Very mediocre industrial cuisine and to conclude a really excessive price. I really advise against it.

16/01/2024: We had a really lovely meal here; we ordered the pizza, burger and lasagne with side salads and drinks and it was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and we were greeted with a quick service. I’m not sure about the other reviews and maybe this establishment has changed hands but we stumbled across this restaurant as it was too icy to drive into Chamonix and being Monday some of the other restaurants were closed. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and visit and will be back.

21/09/2024: Un établissement très sale, 30 min pour être servi, produis froids, pas de sauce, pas de serviettes. et quand on demande une sauce on nous réclame 20 centimes. Mais où est le manager? C’est à te dégoûter du McDonald’s.

15/09/2024: Magnifique 2 bornes sur 10 qui marchent le patron se gave mais tu dois attendre 30mn pour passer une commande ! Bravo Monsieur le Directeur à quand une réparation des autres vous attendez qu'il n'en reste qu'une....

07/07/2024: We ordered this evening, the result was an order for 70 euros (around 60 pieces) we had 2 soy sauces, one sweet and one savory, we're really not going to go far with that. Very disappointed

16/05/2024: When you are salivating in advance at the idea of ​​eating a good Savoyard fondue, and you find yourself hurrying back to the chalet to eat dessert... This is what happened for us during our visit. A welcome that was not necessarily the warmest from the waiter (the bartender, however, was very smiling), a discontent upon realizing that we had to move to be able to arrange the fondue pots.. & ah! The long-awaited fondue, let’s talk about it! Wine fondue with a few pieces of cheese instead of the other way around. There were a total of 9 of us having a fondue, and bringing only 2 pots seemed a bit limited. No wonder the waiter rubbed his hands while counting the number of fondues requested, knowing that it costs €25 per person. A good fondue generally comes with a small portion of cold meats, and in Louisiana, it's extra. On the other hand, it naturally comes with small bread croutons, & I think 4 small bowls of salad (again to share between 9 people), & what if you want one more bowl of salad? You guessed it, it’s extra. Fortunately the vinaigrette was very good, even if I cannot say that it was homemade. Included with the fondue is a small shot of local liqueur, Génépi. After waiting a while after our plates were cleared, not seeing the shots arrive, we obviously had to ask for them. I remain convinced that if we hadn't asked, we would still be waiting for them as another person mentioned in another comment. Not very legal. "Desserts ? - No thanks !".

07/07/2024: Sniff, on a pris ce jour nos deux sandwichs pour la route ce jour et en ouvrant le sac , il n'y en avait qu'un . Payé et pas mangé du coup. Dommage. Soyez vigilants même quand il y a du monde dans la boutique !
