12/07/2024: De passage dans la région j’ai choisi cette pizzeria (mais pas que) pour ses bons avis. Je suis ravie ! Pizzas bien garnies, très peu salées (c’est rare et ça fait du bien), la pâte fine. L’accueil est chaleureux. J’ai vu un risotto de St Jacques (pas des pétoncles ! ) mijoter ça sentait bon. Bref n’hésitez pas ! NB pas solidarité j’ai pris une despé Virgin 😉

09/09/2024: Nous sommes venus manger ce midi et avons passé un très bon moment ! Le service est irréprochable, le personnel aux petits soins. La cuisine est raffinée et bien présentée. Je recommande sans hésitation !

25/07/2024: Friendly little hotel, very clean with pleasant rooms. Correct and sufficient buffet breakfast. Good value for money for simple accommodation. The rooms are pleasant. The following does not directly concern the hotel, but the town of Saint Gervais. The hotel did not offer evening meals at the time we were there, so we resorted to local restaurants and it was a real culinary desert. No small, simple, traditional restaurant, pizzas and burgers are waging a merciless battle to win the junk food war. In the end, almost every evening, we went to the Indian restaurant Taj Mahal just opposite the hotel which alone is able to serve traditional cuisine... from its country of course..

01/09/2024: The restaurant offers a beautiful view and good service, we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food, combined with poor food quality and high prices, make it a disappointing dining experience.

01/09/2024: Il locale è molto bello e la posizione ottima per godersi il lago. Ma il servizio lascia un po’ a desiderare. Il cibo è buono, ma non giustifica i prezzi decisamente troppo salati. Abbiamo speso moltissimo per una cena che definirei normale, nulla di più. Inoltre, mio marito ha ordinato un piatto a base di pesce e invece ha ricevuto carne. Un ristorante serio, questi errori non li fa. Non lo consiglio.

11/03/2024: Certainly the best value for money on the Morzine slopes! The burgers are to die for (especially the pulled pork) and at €12/13 a burger, we couldn't find better in the Portes du Soleil. The cones of fries are huge and the pancakes delicious 😋 Pascalou has a sense of welcome and good humor that makes you want to come back, without forgetting the little vanilla rum that delights the taste buds 😃. A bunch of guys dressed as Elvis Presley arrived with Elvis music and a little dance to set the mood 😂 A great discovery and look forward to next year 🤩

28/01/2026: When I dreamed of my perfect ski vacation and imagined what a chalet in the French Alps should look and feel like, this was it. Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois embodies everything one could hope for in an alpine retreat, charming, elegant, intimate, and wonderfully cozy. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire staff. Every team member, from the reception desk and concierge to the restaurant, spa, and housekeeping staff, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Their attentiveness and genuine care made us feel not just like guests, but truly valued. The shuttle service to town was outstanding, always prompt and reliable, so we never had to wait long. The chalet’s location is ideal, sitting right at the base of the gondola, offering one of the most unique ski-in/ski-out experiences we’ve ever encountered. It made our days on the slopes effortless and unforgettable. A special mention must go to Antoine and Germaine at the ski shop affiliated with the chalet. Their professionalism, warmth, and expertise elevated our ski experience even further, they were simply outstanding. Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois is the definition of alpine perfection. If you’re seeking a luxurious yet welcoming stay in Megève, with impeccable service, cozy charm, and unbeatable access to the slopes, this is the place.

10/01/2026: Bathroom very small with no shower and ventilation. Toilet closet is separate room but the air ventilation is internal which means the toilet air is ventilated into bathroom rather then going outside. Bathroom has not air-ventilation so the air from toilet stays at bathroom. Heating in the bedroom is also not strong enough so if you open the door a few times for balcony access the room gets cold quickly.

17/01/2026: For the restaurant, be careful with the raclette; if you eat the whole piece, a supplement of 26 euros is charged without prior warning.

31/10/2024: Déçus. Service lent. Et nous n'avons pas eu les frites à volonté (trop compliqué nous a dit le serveur), du coup on a eu un peu de frites avec notre plat et c'est tout. Aucune remise sur le prix.

30/09/2024: Personnel d’encaissement désagréable. Qui répète la même chose en boucle en nous prenant pour des idiots. J’ai mangé avec des amis qui eux ont consommés avant mon arrivé (boisson alcoolisée). Je demande à régler ma part sans TVA alcool pour avoir une note de frais réelle et cela a été refusé. Résultat je m’assoie sur la prise en charge. Je n’y retournerai donc plus. Plat + coca + café = facture avec TVA Alcool… cherchez l’erreur ! Il aurait été simple de me créer une table seule et me faire un vrai ticket correspondant plutôt que de me sortir un ticket ne reflétant pas la réalité. Un conseil si vous souhaitez régler uniquement votre part, prenez une table seul ! Pour vos moments conviviaux préférez un autre lieu.
