20/02/2026: We were hiking with my little girl when she suddenly had to use the restroom. We were standing in front of the hotel at the time. I thought I'd politely ask if I could use their restroom. No one ever came to reception. I saw the restrooms right behind the hotel and decided to take her there. When we left, there was still no one at reception to explain our visit and thank us. As we were leaving, a woman asked us in a very sour tone if we were hotel guests. I told her no and explained politely. Her response was, "Well, you have to buy something!" To which I replied that no problem, I was happy to pay for something, no problem. We had waited for the restrooms both ways and saw no one. She replied, still as sour as could be, "Well, you have to ring the bell." Madam, thank you for your kindness and impeccable service!!! It makes me want to stay at your hotel...

20/02/2026: The manager was friendly. Otherwise, the hotel hasn't been renovated in over 30 years. The room was completely uncomfortable, the bedding was awful, there was very little heating in both the room and the breakfast room, and there was a leak in the shower. The breakfast was pre-packaged. Outside, there was no lighting in the parking lot or to reach the entrance after 7:30 PM, making access difficult. The stairs in front of the hotel were cleared of snow late in the morning.

05/08/2024: Certes les prix sont peut être excessifs mais quand on est dans une ville touristique comme Annecy, il faut l accepter! Les plats sont copieux et bons. Le service est un peu long quand la terrasse est pleine mais quand on est en vacances on n'est pas pressée par le temps. Le serveur qui s'est occupée de nous était très gentil et avait le sourire.

30/06/2026: "When you have a good location, you don't need good food," and unfortunately, that's certainly true here. The location and the staff are superb, but the food seemed frozen (perch fillet), tasteless, and the homemade dessert was also frozen solid. A very disappointing experience, especially considering the price.
