The dessert was uninteresting; it was clearly the weak point. And to top it all off, the bill felt a bit too high (again). Did I just catch them on a bad day?

21/03/2026: One of the best gluten-free places we've tried in Marseille. We ordered fried calamari, panisses de l'estaque, and a chicken pizza—everything was delicious, especially the pizza. 100% recommended, and best of all, the price was great.

The pizzeria has a cheerful, lively atmosphere, and it's a pleasure to chat with the chef, who is incredibly efficient despite running the place single-handedly. 14/03/2026: A huge thank you to the Lu Francalin team for this wonderful experience. I came for lunch with my baby, and the welcome was simply fantastic. It's rare to feel so welcome with a little one: the high chair was perfect, clean, and safe, which makes all the difference! As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The trio of Niçoise specialties (socca, pissaladière, and stuffed vegetables) is a must-try—fresh and authentic. A generous, friendly place, perfect for families who want to eat local. We'll definitely be back!

26/02/2026: What a disappointment for a rather well-regarded restaurant. The surf and turf salad is a complete rip-off: €20 for a bowl of green salad with three anchovies lost in the lettuce and a few sad pieces of zucchini and tomato. A bad joke, isn't it?

22/03/2026: A delightful discovery! This place is a real treat. Relaxed outdoor setting, pétanque court, friendly and lively atmosphere. The rib steak is generous and expertly prepared, and the truffled dauphinoise potatoes are superb. Friendly and unpretentious service. Perfect for lunch before heading out for a walk.
