Honestly, go there without hesitation because it's delicious, the service is impeccable, and the owners are always smiling – it's very pleasant. The restrooms are spotless, which reflects the cleanliness of the place. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your food and kindness! 🙏

09/08/2026: We went here for dinner with the family. A high chair was arranged for the little one without us even asking. Delicious pizzas and pastas. The service was provided by an older man, who was super friendly and attentive. He also very patiently gave me the space and opportunity to order in French and helped where necessary, which was really nice 😅 We would go back in a heartbeat if we were in the area.

21/09/2026: Good evening. I wanted to treat my daughter, who was getting married on November 5th, and she wanted the lunch at the Soprano restaurant located in the République district at 2 Rue Dupetit Thouars. She had arranged with the manager to reserve the terrace, which is quite large and can accommodate 120 people, at a rate of 30 euros per person. If you do the math, this amount should have been enough to properly feed all the guests. At 1:30 pm, when many people had been standing for quite some time, I asked if it would be possible to get chairs so they could at least sit down. There were many empty tables, but of course, the manager refused to let them occupy a table that was already free, explaining that chairs and tables would be added. This was despite the fact that the agreement stipulated there would be standing guests. What the agreement didn't foresee was that at 1:30 PM, these forty or so guests, still standing and having neither eaten nor drunk anything, preferred to leave to find food elsewhere in the neighborhood. The few tasteless pizzas that arrived were cut into tiny slices of ten, as was their PDO cheese, served on a plate meant for twelve with a few salad leaves. If the cook had to feed Oompa Loompas, I could have understood, but there was a clear principle that wasn't respected, and a restaurant that cares about its customers should adhere to it. It's true that the trendy neighborhood doesn't exactly encourage restaurants to serve real food. Germans who were guests at the wedding explained to me that in Germany, a restaurant like this would close the very next day. It seems this kind of ersatz cuisine has a bright future in this area. So, I'm taking the liberty of writing this long message to anyone tempted to book this terrace for a private event; it's the only positive element of the setting—a large terrace. For the rest, everything was in keeping with the same pattern: a few A4-sized pizzas to share among 10, and cheese platters for 120 people; 12 one-liter bottles of Coke, about fifteen bottles of wine, unlimited water, and pizzas arriving in dribs and drabs due to a service that prioritized customers at tables. There was, of course, dessert: tiramisu, also to be shared, after the vast majority had already left, accompanied by a glass of champagne. This dish contained all the elements one would typically find at a summer camp. I asked for a refund for the 40 people who had nothing to eat and had to find something to eat elsewhere, by paying for what they had already paid for their meals. Unfortunately, I received no response, but given that I chose "Soprano" as the restaurant's name, all of this is quite to be expected. To all those who love to eat and whose primary culinary virtue is not blandness, then absolutely avoid this place; there are much better restaurants in this neighborhood.

14/09/2026: I had been several times before and had never been disappointed until my last visit yesterday, which unfortunately left a bitter taste. The main problem was the service, marked by far too long wait times: to be seated, to receive the menus, to place our order, and then to be served drinks. The waitresses were friendly, but there was a clear lack of organization and training. For example, water glasses were placed on the table, but without water or a carafe, until the drinks arrived... we're still wondering what the point was. It's a shame, because the place is really pleasant and the cocktails are very good.

Now we know exactly where our groups can stop on the way from Paris to Switzerland without worrying about finding a place for the bus. Everything was excellent: the hotel is quiet, comfortable, and very well organized. The air conditioning works gently and pleasantly, without blowing cold air directly at you.
