14/07/2026: I agree with some of the reviews! But what is this pizza? The presentation is awful. It's not appetizing at all. I stopped after the second bite and made myself a plate of pasta instead. However, the other four people I met enjoyed it, I should mention. As for me, that's it because the taste just isn't there. What a shame.

07/07/2026: A Cros-de-Cagnes institution for many generations. This restaurant serves you until midnight. Pizza and meats cooked over a wood fire. A friendly and competent team.

05/07/2026: What a disaster, this change of ownership! The pizzas used to be fabulous, but now they're inedible, with a hard crust. Bring back the old owners!

01/07/2026: At Salvatore's, you're welcomed just like in Naples: with smiles, kindness, and Italian generosity. The advice is spot-on, the fresh pasta delicious, and the coffee simply perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; it was a wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. One small drawback: the owner has a rather strong personality. Arriving at 12:05, I was told, "It's 12:30! The hours are on the door!" So I waited, and was seated fairly quickly. Antipasti, still-warm pizza dough, good advice on the order... but no water on the table, and when the gentleman next to me asked for a carafe, he was given a San Pellegrino. As a result, I didn't dare ask for one. He's a bit disorganized, it's a take-it-or-leave-it situation, but the neighborhood regulars keep coming back. He's easygoing and straightforward. You go back for the food and for the owner's personality.

30/06/2026: The pizzas are good, but the restaurant only accepts cash payments; neither restaurant cards nor credit cards are accepted. Surprising practice.

07/06/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent food, plus it's right next to a beautiful lake. I highly recommend it.

27/04/2026: We ate there on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The entire meal was very good and served hot. The St. Véran white wine was delicious. The welcome was very warm. It's best to book ahead. A good restaurant, and there aren't many like it in the area.

16/05/2026: To break with tradition, we decided to hold our board meeting at the Cantina; a private space was reserved for us, with salsa music playing in the background. A great atmosphere, don't hesitate, go for it.

12/02/2026: A memorable evening, but not for the right reasons. We had plenty of time to solve the world's problems before we were even served. The wait was long, very long. Meanwhile, the music was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation without raising our voices—perfect if the plan was to avoid talking to friends. The tapas? Presented as rare treasures, the portions were so small. The prices, on the other hand, were very much there and not at all surprising. The value for money was bordering on an artistic feat. As for the owner, very visible in the dining room… we're still trying to figure out his exact role. A lot of presence, but little impact on the organization or the quality of service. In short: a place that focuses entirely on atmosphere, forgetting that customers also come to eat and have a good time. What we remember most is the bill.

11/10/2025: I really enjoyed the variety of pizzas. The Bologna and the Romana were very good. However, I'm not against dogs in a restaurant, but seeing people petting them without washing their hands before going back behind the bar bothers me.

18/01/2026: We ordered three pizzas to take away for €44, and the owner gave us a free three-chocolate cake because ours was broken in the middle. When we arrived, there were no other customers in the restaurant, which I found surprising on a Sunday evening... To put it simply, it wasn't good at all. I do not recommend this place.

13/01/2026: Eating a tuna pizza was a disappointment. The ingredients list said parsley and garlic, but there was no parsley... bland and undercooked, with a raw egg on top. In short, it was rubbish.

21/03/2026: The managers are fantastic, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is great, just the way we like it. Go for it!

20/06/2026: An hour late, nothing to make up for the wait, not even a free drink as an apology. My friends had time to finish their evening while I waited at the pizzeria for my pizza.

15/07/2026: Very disappointed, nothing went as we had imagined.... We were assured that a giant screen would be set up for the semi-final and that it would be visible, but upon arrival, there was none of that. All the tables had no view of the screen, which wasn't even giant, and we were forced to watch the match on our phones. Total disappointment.... As for the meal, it was a disaster and overpriced for what was on the plate. And the owner was awful; he didn't even want to discuss our dissatisfaction.

19/05/2025: Honestly, the service yesterday was very fast. I had the carbonara, a really good deal, quick and efficient. Thanks to the waiter for his great energy. Thanks for the reply, it's nice to hear from you. PS: I recommend going there on Saturday at lunchtime like I did; it's very quiet.

12/07/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this bakery. I bought eight chocolate croissants for a total of €10, which is about €1.40 each. Unfortunately, the pastries were soft, not very flaky, and did not meet the expected quality for the price. When I mentioned this to the staff, I was told they were freshly baked that day. However, their texture and apparent freshness left me with a very negative impression. I find the price excessive under these circumstances. This experience does not encourage me to return, and I do not recommend this bakery. As someone who works in a bakery myself, I know what I'm talking about.
