21/03/2026: With the new manager, it was exceptional! The food was excellent, especially the pizzas, which were truly delicious. I live next door and I'll definitely be ordering again. Everything is very good. The owner is incredibly welcoming and the service is very friendly.

04/06/2026: Halles de la Martinière began in 1838 as a municipal food market in two halls arranged around Rue de la Martinière. Butter, eggs, poultry and other provisions were sold inside, while the street kept public movement open between the halls. The southern hall burned in 1873, was rebuilt, then disappeared when the street was widened in 1903, leaving the surviving stone hall as a reduced remnant of that original market. Its columns, iron grilles, lantern and later glass reopening show a building repeatedly adjusted where food trade met the street. After closure in 2011, it reopened in 2017 with local products, eating on site and takeaway, though that reuse entered fresh uncertainty with the cooperative grocery’s 2026 liquidation.

26/08/2026: The food was so-so, the taste was average. We ordered a few dishes, but the risotto was outrageously expensive at over forty euros. The rice was undercooked, which I didn't quite like. The staff were quite friendly, and they were happy to add bread. The bread was really delicious—the best I've had in France, very fragrant, and available in different flavors. The ambiance itself was nice, with a view of the Eiffel Tower, but the strong smell of urine on the street was quite unpleasant and affected my judgment of the food. This restaurant only accepts cash, so bring cash. There's also a cash exchange next door.

13/08/2026: I spent my last night in Paris at this cafe! I went there because I wanted to see the champagne flash. The staff greeted me with smiles, and I was able to spend a wonderful last day in Paris! I love everything about Paris—the city, the people, everything ❤️ Thank you for the wonderful time and space! I LOVE PARIS!!!!

09/09/2026: Absolutely inedible, a really low-quality product. I forced myself to eat it, but my girlfriend ate one piece and threw the rest away. It looked appetizing, though, and it was so visually appealing. It's a shame the taste was awful, or at least not to our liking! (The egg white was only cooked in some places and raw in others.) Hoping I don't get sick 🤞

16/09/2026: The restaurant was packed. The waiter had to be very quick. We enjoyed our meal very much and the price was right.

16/09/2026: We ate at this restaurant last night, which had the merit of offering tempting dishes with different menus for various budgets. We thought, why not? Our first unpleasant surprise was the children's menu, priced at €12.50. My daughter chose ham, fries, and two scoops of ice cream and, of course, only ate half her plate, making the ham quite expensive, but children's menus are often exorbitantly priced in restaurants. Anyway... While my daughter was served very quickly, which we appreciated, we waited much longer for our individual courses. The waiter seemed overwhelmed; there were many customers for one man. Unfortunately, we didn't find the dishes particularly impressive. There was no special visual presentation, and above all, the taste was disappointing. Personally, while the foie gras was good, the tagliatelle with scallops was bland, the seasoning practically nonexistent, swimming in a pool of cream amidst overcooked pasta. The fish of the day with its mashed potatoes wasn't much better, and the sardines were poorly cooked. A shame, considering the set menu prices. However, I heard several positive comments from neighboring tables, so either we were unlucky or we're just picky, but when I pay €29 for a set menu, I expect to eat well, or at least better than at home, which wasn't the case this time. Yes, we finished our plates because we were hungry, and the dishes weren't inedible. The wine and dessert were good, but overall, I don't think it was worth the price. Thank you for the water for the dog and the welcome. I'm giving it a 3 for these last points, and because one bad experience doesn't make it a general rule!

11/07/2026: A disappointing experience. The waitress's attitude was inappropriate and unprofessional. She was far too present at our table, which was quite awkward. Furthermore, I felt she only smiled at and paid attention to my companion, which made me uncomfortable. Service should be pleasant and respectful to all customers, without giving that kind of impression. Unfortunately, this experience does not make me want to return.

17/06/2026: The setting of this inn is pleasant, but the service is sorely lacking due to a young waitress who treats her workplace like a dating site. Her provocative attitude and complete lack of restraint and professionalism towards customers are truly appalling. Her inappropriate behavior completely ruins the friendly atmosphere of the establishment. It's a real shame for the inn's reputation; we won't be returning.

27/05/2026: Staying in an airport hotel, we walked here twice as it was convenient. First time, the very pleasant lady owner had lost her voice, and she was so kind and welcoming to us without a reservation, with a couple of the best wood fired pizzas we had had in a long time. The second time, it was halloween, and it seemed as if we were not very welcome as we had not booked a table. However, we were still seated and had a good meal. The food is excellent, and this is a very nice place to have dinner if you are waiting for a flight out, or staying at the airport and not wanting to go into town.

22/01/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs! To begin with, you can't see what you're eating. The steak tartare was clearly microwaved, the chicken pizza was tasteless, and to top it all off, the pasta carbonara was completely uninteresting.

02/07/2026: I bought five more pizzas Tuesday night, and once again, they were flawless! Never disappointed since the beginning! Keep up the good work!
