19/09/2025: Food mediocre, not quite warm. "Mistake" at the checkout: paid 20 euros too much. Didn't get a receipt. Got the money back after asking.

12/09/2026: Craving Chinese food. I chose my favorite chicken curry. With it, a kind of fried rice, Peking style. The curry isn't that expensive, 8.50, and the fried rice is 7.50. The curry sauce was a bit on the thick side but tasted good; I did ask for sambal to make it a bit spicy. A bottle of water for 3.20. It wasn't busy and the meal was on the table in no time. Overall, I had a fine meal. [It was quite quiet, but people were talking very loudly on the phone]

10/09/2026: It's simple, it's good, the owner is friendly… It's a sure thing; my review is based on about ten visits, so I have some perspective. Highly recommended!

17/07/2026: I didn't know the steak sandwich contained chicken, it's simply disgusting, the bread is as revolting as the minced fat steak, I do not recommend it at all!

20/06/2026: The hygiene leaves much to be desired. There were high-fives between customers and kitchen staff without handwashing, the kebabs weren't great, and neither was the service. I don't recommend it.

09/08/2026: There's a huge sign on the storefront: buy one pizza, get one free… but actually, the offer is no longer valid; they refuse to honor it. So, two pizzas are €18.90. One pizza is €11.80. I asked to speak to the manager, and they told me he's never there; he has 26 restaurants… great…

14/07/2026: La Boîte à Pizza, in La Madeleine, is a place where you can order the best pizzas, bottles of chilled water, and especially for Johann's connoisseurs, an excellent rosé, enjoyed by Franck and Martine. Our reservation was made by Chantal, who greatly appreciated it. A friendly team welcomes you with unparalleled freshness and quality. You can sit down, enjoy your meal, and share this moment with friends. Highly recommended. I was already familiar with their home delivery service. 17/09/2026: As a loyal customer, I'm shocked by the price changes. €11.30 for fries and a portion of steak tartare... and when I ask for an explanation, I'm told €6 for the tartare, then another person tells me €6.90 for the tartare... even though it says steak tartare sandwich for €6... I say that's impossible, that it's cheaper in a sandwich, which is logical. He replies, "Yes, but there are no fries in a sandwich..." Even though I paid for the fries separately. Anyway, I've been coming here for years, but this is the last time.

12/09/2026: I ignored the negative reviews and I'm so glad I did! I wasn't disappointed by my fries; they were delicious 🍟

11/09/2026: I ordered a Margherita pizza and it was way too salty, more salty than the sea. I feel like I wasted my money.

06/09/2026: The pizzas were good. However, €7.50 for this "large fries" is ridiculous. Either there was a mistake with the order, or it was the worst "large portion" I've ever had.

30/09/2026: 8 hours and more for pain au chocolat, does that make sense?

29/09/2026: The raspberry tartlet was very good, just like the pizza, but be warned: ordering a chicken mayo sandwich without mayo and without raw vegetables is frustrating. Also, bring some carrots for the staff, as they aren't very friendly.

25/08/2026: I went to Flunch Englos and noticed they were serving ice cream with dirty hands. I informed the manager, who grumbled but washed his hands before serving me. I left a review for Flunch Englos. They said they take this "very seriously." Yesterday, I went to the Flunch in Villeneuve-d'Ascq and realized they were just as disgusting. They touched things, their faces, and served me a cone without washing. Who are these "managers" who do absolutely nothing? If what we see is so sickening, I wonder what it's like in the kitchen. I'm thinking of alerting the health department about this chain's practices. An administrative closure should set things straight.

23/08/2026: We came at lunchtime today and received a very warm welcome from Cassi, who was very smiley, welcoming, and pleasant. We didn't quite understand how the coffee machines worked, and she very kindly came to help us. Very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place; I will definitely be back! Thank you, Cassi!

11/02/2026: After a stroll on the beach, a quick stop at this lovely spot will delight you. Pleasant service, very polite staff, clean place. A renowned establishment: Chez Sam A place worth revisiting sometime 👍

03/01/2026: Hello, we booked for 9 people... the table was set. A waiter who liked to tell jokes... the mussels and ice cream were very good... we'll be back

05/10/2026: Dirty cutlery, dirty trays, the drink dispensers weren't filled with syrup, resulting in a terrible, sewage-like mixture… And to top it all off, the dessert tasted like it had been in the fridge… and there was a hair in the coffee. I do not recommend it.
