We were served throughout the evening by Alain, a wonderful person who clearly loves his work and kept us entertained during the meal. We highly recommend this place for its charm, especially its location overlooking Place Sainte-Catherine, but above all for the delicious flavors of every dish we tasted. A big thank you to the chef(s) – everything was perfect!

14/06/2026: Honestly, I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I have a very bad memory of this dinner. We experienced it in three parts: the dishes were very good, but the portions were shameful. Worse than plates of baby food. The vegetables were so tiny that one bite was too much to eat. As a result, the value for money was quite high.

13/05/2026: A very nice menu. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The portions are generous despite the thin-crust pizza. The restaurant is small but cozy. However, it's hard to get a smile from the staff… And the service is slow for lunchtime. Reservations are essential!

12/05/2026: The food was very tasty, well presented and speedily served. Very friendly staff. I would just caution that staff check for allergies before bringing the small bowl of peanuts to the table. It wasn't a problem for us, but some people have a serious peanut allergy.

24/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! La Palanquée is a simple and unpretentious brasserie where you quickly feel at ease. The welcome is warm: the waitresses are smiling and friendly, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a home where regulars love to gather. It's easy to chat with the manager, who also works in the kitchen, which gives the place a real sense of authenticity. But above all, the food is excellent! The ingredients are high-quality and well-prepared, with excellent value for money: the daily special is €12.90, and à la carte dishes rarely exceed €20. Special mention also goes to the wines by the glass for under €5, which is becoming quite rare these days. The small outdoor terrace is a real bonus for a leisurely lunch. A friendly and welcoming place that I highly recommend!
