27/06/2025: A moment out of time, while looking for a restaurant to celebrate my birthday, I stumbled upon this place by chance. A perfect welcome, succulent and beautifully presented dishes. A wide selection of dishes using only fresh and very well-prepared ingredients. The cooking is perfect, and the sauces and side dishes are perfectly balanced. As a chef, I can assure you that the chef and his team will undoubtedly delight your taste buds. As luck would have it, things work well. See you soon, and thank you again.

26/04/2025: Very good time spent O taste of the day; We have been coming to this establishment regularly for years and, something rare, the quality of the dishes is always consistent! 09/12/2025: A lovely, tastefully decorated restaurant where you can eat very well for a reasonable price. The set menu is €18.50 with four choices for a main course, a drink, and coffee. The service was excellent; the lady was incredibly kind and gentle. We were just passing through, but if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back to eat there.

16/01/2026: As far as I'm concerned, UMAMI is the best restaurant in Lille. The food, the welcome, the service, and the atmosphere are all excellent. I wasn't really familiar with Chinese food before discovering this restaurant, nor with the custom of ordering several dishes plus a side and sharing them with the people you're dining with. It's a very pleasant and convivial experience, and you have the opportunity to try several dishes, all of which are excellent and blend well together. For people who have never been, I can recommend a few dishes that my wife, colleagues, and I often order: - Crispy Chicken Wok - Pork Tenderloin in Sweet and Sour Sauce - Caramelized Pork - Beef Hot Pot - Pangasius Hot Pot - Mapo Tofu It seems to me that only the chicken is Halal; for some dishes like the mapo tofu, it's possible to request a meat/pork-free option for vegetarians.

02/12/2025: First experience at Vert Mont, and I'm sorry to say we were disappointed. Upon arrival, we waited by the fireplace, which was pleasant, especially after an hour's drive (thanks to Lille's traffic jams!). Then we waited quite a while at our table before getting anything to drink. We found the portions very small. Two of us don't eat pork, and instead we received a tiny portion of mushrooms. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, this is quite surprising and disappointing. Some of the servers were excellent, others rather stressed, which made me feel uncomfortable. We had a lovely time in a superb atmosphere, but I don't think we'll be back. It's a shame; this is the second time I've been disappointed by one of Florent's restaurants (Krevette previously)... and I was such a fan of Bloempot.

11/12/2025: It's a complete disaster! This is the fifth time they've forgotten either fries or hamburgers in our orders. We trust them, we drive home after 15 minutes expecting a delicious meal, and something is always missing. You need to review your staff; they're completely unprofessional. Double-check your orders, or they should quit their jobs and find something else to do with their lives. It's not that complicated!
