27/01/2025: It's been quite a while since we went to eat at this Flunch. We wanted to test the new concept.
What a disappointment at the sight of the dishes offered but also the prices!
The salad bowls are ridiculously small.
Moreover with these terminals, so impersonal....
I turned around and went where there is more humanity!

However, I asked if they could charge my phone as I wasn't local and had a long drive ahead of me, and they told me it was forbidden.
A bit surprised.

20/06/2026: First of all, the staff were very kind and friendly, but the food isn't everything; it tasted like pre-baked bread that they hadn't actually cooked.
We ordered American-style burgers, but the meat in one was dry, there was no cheese, and it was bland. I ordered beef, but the beef was tough and not tender.
And the fries were just okay.

03/07/2026: So obviously, when you go to McDonald's, you don't expect much in the way of food...
But the bare minimum is not having to wait 20 minutes and then having to ask for things that were forgotten... and then having to accept without question that everything is out of stock even though it was ordered... at noon.
In short. A disaster. Avoid it.
02/07/2026: I arrived at the restaurant angry because my order was completely wrong. However, I was greeted by a smiling team. A huge thank you to the manager at the time (Mr. Julian Demaretz) who completely understood my situation and remade my order entirely. Incredible service. Thank you very much.

30/06/2026: Several cases of indigestion have occurred at this McDonald's, a real quality control problem. I think the cold chain wasn't maintained in this heat. I only ate fries and a small wrap, and I ended up vomiting all day. Avoid this McDonald's!

We came with 10 people, and were served fairly quickly despite the crowd.
✅ The fries: well-cooked, crispy, and tasty.
✅ The sandwiches: well-filled, complete, with good ingredients.
💬 Honestly, a very good time, everyone ate well. A chip shop that does the job and more!

05/03/2026: A real nuisance for the whole neighborhood; groups of unemployed people loiter in front of the entrance, doing nothing but shouting and playing music.
A constant disturbance, day and night. The owners or the town hall need to take action quickly.

29/05/2026: A kids' meal and a Big Mac Best Of Maxi meal, classic. Well, no:
* No Happy Meal box
* No toy requested (Stranger Things)
* No Creamy Deluxe week as promised with Potatoes
* No napkin
* No sauce at all
* A guy served me at click and collect with unprecedented nonchalance
* It was 11:30 am, nobody in the restaurant, but I still waited 25 minutes after the notification that my order was ready
Soon it will be the end for McDonald's. You're doing whatever you want; you won't be able to keep up with the competition for long. Enjoy your brand image while it lasts.

26/05/2026: Where to begin? €37 for two cheeseburgers, fries, and two cans of soda was already shocking, but coming home with indigestion and being unable to work was the last straw… If I could have given zero stars, I would have. This is the first time in my life I've written a review for a restaurant, but I felt compelled to warn people like us who might be passing through… The food wasn't fresh!! Just look at the number of reviews and the empty tables when we went… They don't have a good reputation, and I can confirm it!!
16/05/2026: I had a cheeseburger for €10.50, it was microwaved (dry bun on one side, soggy on the other) and the beef wasn't 100%... I finished it so I wouldn't be hungry in the afternoon, but I already regret it 🤮 The fries were good, but that's all. My daughter didn't eat her sausage; having tasted it, I understand why, and that's a good thing. I should have read the reviews beforehand and gone to the nachos place next door, a bit more expensive but undoubtedly much better. The most disgusting fast food of my life. I hope I don't get sick.

05/12/2024: A really long wait at the drive-thru... we're here for "fast" food, we can limit ourselves to leaving the car in the drive-thru line and going to eat at the McDonald's next door so that the line won't have moved
05/12/2024: Deplorable quality of service, no smile even though there were not even 5 in the restaurant, spilled the coke on the tray, not a lot of cheddar even though we paid extra, overcooked burger, wrong sauce, and also when They asked for salt at the checkout, feeling like they were pissed off. I advise against it

25/09/2024: We visited on our way back to the UK, one of the joys of France is going to their supermarkets as they are incredible compared to the UK, and this Auchan didn't disappoint!
It is huge, with a garden centre as well, and a large home department, but as always it was the food section that really wowed us.
A huge fresh food selection, and the butchery/deli area has an incredible range of meats including offal and lesser known cuts - onglet, bavette etc for sale which is incredibly hard to find in the UK. There is also an actual butcher out the back which you can see behind the glass where they make their own sausages and other meat products like the marinated items.
And you can't talk about a French supermarket without mentioning the bread and patisserie - wonderful selection and the eclairs we bought were delicious.
We also received great service - there was an Auchan staff member who heard us talking in English about a beer we couldn't find, and he stepped in to ask if he could help and he helped us find what we were looking for! Great service.
Definitely one of the better Auchan's around, and if you're on your way back to the UK, definitely worth making a stop here!
21/09/2024: 12/24/2020: Although this Auchan hypermarket is not new, it is huge, well stocked and offers rather reasonable prices. It's the first time I've been here and I'm not disappointed. Despite the crowds, the checkout was quick. The staff remains pleasant, available and resists the pressure of this New Year's Eve. Well done !
Now that I live in Dunkirk, Auchan is my go-to supermarket. I do 80% of my shopping there.
