18/02/2026: It was my last day in Biarritz and I really wanted to try this restaurant, but I arrived 15 minutes before closing time. They encouraged me to sit down. The service was very pleasant and quick. The food was delicious. Thank you for a lovely meal! 😄

09/03/2026: The hotel has been renovated; the bathroom in our room was small but functional with a good-sized shower. Friendly staff.

01/03/2026: We made a reservation here for Tuesday night and when we arrived the message on the door window said that the hotel was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday yet we received confirmation earlier of our reservation. I tried to call the telephone number given and could not get through. I had a friend of mine who is French call the number and he told me the message said the hotel was closed. We found a nearby hotel. We were traveling the next day to Germany so I asked my friend who only lives a few miles from Hotel du Trinquet to talk to them when they were opened again. He told me they said they had sent me the code for opening the door and the room number. I did not receive any messages from the hotel with that information. We were the only people with a reservation for that night, did not use the room or water or electricity, did not eat breakfast yet they refused to credit us with any refund. I have stayed there in the past but never stay there again.
