19/09/2026: Long wait after the starter, mussels in cream and cheese sauce served without a plate for the shells or a finger bowl. It's a small restaurant, but there should be a minimum standard. Fish and chips were decent, but the gnocchi were hard and tasteless. I would have told you if, when I paid, they had asked me if I was satisfied. But there you have it!

20/08/2026: Passing through the region on vacation, we discovered this restaurant and we weren't disappointed! 😊 A very warm welcome, pleasant and friendly staff. An excellent meal, with generous portions just the way we like them. Everything was truly delicious and plentiful! A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend. 👍 We will gladly return on our next vacation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

25/05/2026: We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. We greatly appreciated the kindness of Soso and his wife. We were delighted because everything was perfect. The table was beautifully set, the aperitif was very convivial with excellent tapas. The meal was delicious and very generous, and the cake was superb... all this at a relaxed pace, allowing us to savor every moment. Thank you, Soso, for your warmth, your guitar, and your kindness.

27/02/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, perfect for meeting up with friends (which is exactly what we did), in a rugby-loving atmosphere and enjoying simple, hearty meals like grandma used to make. We shared a convivial experience at very reasonable prices (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee: €18.10), welcomed and served by a Biarritz rugby legend. Humor and simplicity reigned. No frills, the focus is on the food and the friendly banter. The atmosphere was filled with stories and wonderful moments from the Biarritz Olympique's glory days, and the spirit of two other pillars of the club—Serge Betsen and Serge Blanco—was palpable. 09/08/2026: A stunning and beautiful chapel, its dimensions are more reminiscent of a sizable church, seemingly nestled in the hills. Probably the most beautiful spot to see on the hills south of Pau. Easy and pleasant to reach by bike from Pau. A must-see!

16/03/2026: Good starting point for hikes. The chapel isn't particularly attractive and I've never seen it open. The restaurant next door looks abandoned. All in all, a bit sad. Very beautiful view of the Pyrenees.

03/06/2026: Concert this Thursday, May 28, 2026! First up was Stan Silver and the Brave Puppies, a trio playing guitar, vocals, bass, and drums—a very effective country rock sound. Then came the virtuoso Uli Jon Roth and his band... what can I say... it was perfect. What an evening in a friendly yet rockin' atmosphere!

18/08/2026: They have gluten-free options, and a wide variety of breads. It's worth going to try.

28/07/2026: Excellent organic and handcrafted breads, a good selection of gluten-free breads that are hard to find everywhere. Very good savory items too, and considering the quality, not very expensive. I can't comment on the sweets, as I haven't tried them. The downsides... the opening hours and the products available to order! It's not possible to go in the early afternoon and they close at 7 pm. If you go too late, the selection is extremely limited, and the products available to order are far too restricted, which is a real shame. But the quality is truly top-notch.

12/06/2026: Amazing experience, the hotel allowed me to drop off my bag pre check-in, which allowed me to explore the beautiful city of Bayonne. The receptionist Claire was extremely welcoming and accomodating.

12/12/2025: Atypical hotel, very friendly staff, magnificent location, beautiful view and the perfect room on the top floor, large comfortable bed, air-conditioned room and above all clean with air conditioning.

25/09/2026: Chipirons 19/20!!!! Really, really good.... (I deducted 1 point for the bread 🙄) Dessert: a slice of Basque cake from Pariès, equally good. Fast and friendly service. What more could you ask for at such a great price?

27/09/2026: Excellent place!! We received a very warm welcome from Bertrand, and the food was homemade. Delicious from start to finish, in a beautiful setting in the center of Bayonne. Bonus: they show Top 14 rugby matches!!

23/08/2026: We had lunch at this place before to head to a nearby chateau for a wine tasting. I loved the place. They greeted us with a smile, the waiter tried to speak a little Spanish and the food was good. The atmosphere of the place was so “inland French” that we fall in love. Last but not least. Price correct :)

29/08/2026: There is not a building there anymore and from the looks of it it might take a long time to get built again, luckily there are more places to eat at a very little walking distance, so if you already went all the way there you might be able to eat something anyway.
