03/03/2026: Excellent food! We had lunch on the terrace one day and received a super friendly welcome. The food was delicious. Everything was homemade, right down to the bread baked in a wood-fired oven. A very pleasant experience, highly recommended.

14/02/2026: The first restaurant we went to after arriving from Saint-Émilion. We arrived a little late, but despite that, we were warmly welcomed and served quickly. The pizzas are excellent and generously topped for a reasonable price. I recommend this place.

01/03/2026: I ordered a cappuccino frappé, but unfortunately, they didn't make them. The cashier offered me a café frappé, which I accepted. To me, a café frappé is made with two espressos, ice cubes, and a little milk. Instead, I was served a coffee milkshake for €5.60 (small size), and the cashier told me that a café frappé and a coffee milkshake are the same thing... And I agree with the other reviews; the cashiers aren't very pleasant.

10/03/2026: The bread at Cazapan is wonderful, especially the wheat duo and the country loaf. It's a shame the experience is spoiled by the appalling welcome from the young saleswoman. Incredibly unfriendly, you get the distinct impression that you're bothering her as soon as you walk in the door. Her lack of professionalism is a real letdown compared to the rest of the team, who are otherwise fantastic. You come for the bread, but you'd almost leave because of her attitude.

10/12/2025: Highly recommended hotel for the quality. The rooms had nice touches. We slept very well; the mattress, despite being springs, was comfortable. The heating was very weak; we had to keep using a very basic radiator, which needs improvement. The cleanliness was adequate but could be better. Breakfast was the same every day for our 4 days and 3 nights; it could be improved, perhaps by adding a microwave to heat the pancakes. The service was attentive.

30/11/2025: Spent last night here in my way to Bilbao. The place is relatively good in all aspects particularly the reception and breakfast staff. The WiFi service was down and nobody attended to it nor did we receive any apologies for this unfortunately. There was an important issue I needed to attend to but I couldn’t because of the issue.

02/10/2025: After the first exchange with the server, any desire to stay and have lunch at this restaurant disappeared.

06/03/2026: We bought some excellent macarons, all very good and fragrant, and stopped for a drink. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and smiling waitress; you could tell she loved her job.

06/03/2026: I love this bakery; the macarons are delicious, but not only that. The éclairs, muffins, and yule logs are a real treat, as is their fig bread. The lady with glasses is lovely and always offers great advice. I highly recommend it!

22/02/2026: Two stars to encourage the waitress who is doing her best to satisfy the customers. The kitchen isn't working properly; they need to hire more staff or reduce the number of tables. An hour's wait for 2 x 9 oysters; the white wine had warmed up in the sun, and the children had already eaten the children's menu, which was very good.

11/11/2024: The moral is that in the “Hospitality Business” sector, it is imperative to be welcoming and respectful towards everyone, and not just towards regular customers or acquaintances because you never know who you are dealing with… After having lunch in group in this establishment, as a customer, I returned on a Saturday evening to order a takeaway other than pizza. I was confronted with a deplorable welcome from the owner's daughter, in a restaurant that was practically empty that evening. His lack of business sense and kindness manifested itself in curt and sometimes insolent responses to simple questions. I was surprised to find that they didn't offer takeout, and when I asked if I could bring my own container, the response was particularly curt, whereas in many nearby pizzerias it is possible. to take away all the dishes and that the welcome is much warmer. Despite my hesitations about returning since this summer, when I was confronted with a humiliating and aggressive welcome from the owner, I still decided to share my experience on Google Maps. Additionally, I noticed that he seemed to encourage his friends and customers to immediately post positive reviews to outweigh the negative ones, which is against Google Maps policies. This manipulation is frowned upon by other restaurateurs, in particular because of the closing times at 9 p.m., a subject of ridicule among them. Finally, I find it unacceptable that customers already seated are refused the possibility of ordering a pizza one minute after 9 p.m., under the pretext that the kitchen is closed…. Unfortunately, his responses to comments leave something to be desired, with no professional apology to any of the objective but negative comments about his restaurant, nor any acknowledgment of the problems encountered. Read carefully the violent response to come which will confirm the mind of the owner...
