21/08/2026: What a surprise to learn upon arrival (after having booked by phone) that the regular menu wasn't available on cesta punta nights. We had come for a main course, but were forced to order tapas if we didn't want axoa or chipirons. The tapas were served on plates, and we had to make do with the empty dishes. It was 30 minutes later that a waiter came to collect the empty dishes and offered us plates. A bit late. The service was disjointed. We waited an eternity for water, even after asking a waitress who said "I'll be right back" and arrived 10 minutes later. Our neighbors at the next table kindly shared their carafe with us because they saw I was thirsty. The waiters and waitresses were running around but didn't seem to stop anywhere; they weren't professional, and it showed.

29/09/2026: A very warm welcome; you don't want to leave. Luis is a wonderful, generous, and professional person. A rare find these days. Added September 2026. Since then, every year when I'm in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, I make a point of stopping by to say hello to Luis and enjoy a delicious cordial. It's always a lovely experience. The setting was renovated during the refurbishment of the Place de la Mairie. The terrace is now beautiful with its plants. You don't want to leave even less than before!

17/09/2026: Avoid the crepes and waffles!!! The crepes were like pieces of cardboard, barely cooked (inedible white batter). The waffles were tiny and tasteless. Plus, wiping the table was a struggle; it seemed to bother them. In short, not worth the trip.

30/08/2026: Where do I even begin? I hesitated to call Philippe Etchebest, but I'm afraid even he wouldn't have been able to salvage this restaurant. I ordered a three-meat taco and ended up with a stale meat patty for the outrageous sum of €15. Thanks for the rip-off! But that's not all. My two friends ordered equally disappointing burgers. In short, I paid €50 for spending the night in the bathroom.

30/09/2026: Super Kebab, undoubtedly the best place to eat in Oloron and the surrounding area. Fresh products and low prices, offering many excellent traditional dishes.

13/08/2026: The establishment was supposed to be closed on Wednesday, but I was just passing by with my son who had an early appointment after lunch. The manager still welcomed us and served us food. He was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back. Thank you, sir!
