21/07/2026: The pizzas are very good, and the location is right in the center of Laruns. The price is reasonable, around €20 for a pizza and a drink. They speak Spanish.

10/07/2026: I had a wonderful meal at Mekong with a friend. Upon arriving in Pau, it wasn't Béarn culture I discovered, but rather Asian culture. That evening, entering this unassuming establishment, the red LEDs and the magnificent bar transported me to Chungking Express, one of my favorite Wong Kar-wai films. The manager was very attentive and even offered us shrimp chips.

18/06/2026: A very good experience at Mékong in Pau (Foir'Expo). The welcome was warm. The lady who served us was very pleasant, smiling, and incredibly kind. We ordered takeout and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The spring rolls were truly excellent, perfectly crispy and flavorful. They came with a fresh salad and mint, which added a very welcome touch of freshness. I highly recommend them for the quality of the products and the attentive service. Thank you and see you soon!

14/07/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. The owner doesn't smile, no "hello," except for one of the waitresses with a Spanish accent who was incredibly kind – the only positive point of our visit (thank you to her). The food and the atmosphere are simply awful. Furthermore, the prices are excessively high... it's a shame.

14/07/2026: Very disappointing! We hadn't made a reservation, but I don't think we should have stopped there. The waitress was unpleasant; it was like we were bothering her. There's a menu, but you don't have a choice of all the dishes. I advise you to eat quickly, otherwise they'll take your plate away. I'd call the steak tartare "parsley steak" because all you could taste was parsley, and I'm crossing my fingers I don't get sick. Even the salad wasn't fresh! My daughter ordered the children's menu, and the potatoes weren't cooked. I don't understand the Google rating because I find it very high, or maybe I just caught them on a bad day!

04/05/2026: Wow, the best kofte sandwich of my life! It's easily in my top three best sandwiches ever. Everything is homemade, the meat is perfectly seasoned and spiced… incredible, you have to taste it to understand! And the atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, and convivial, with zouk music playing in the background! Thank you, Refik!

10/04/2026: Not good at all, I think it's the worst kebab I've ever eaten!

03/08/2026: A wonderful dinner at Brasserie Royale; the shepherd's pie and the flank steak were very good. The fries were excellent. The caramelized shallots were slightly undercooked and not quite caramelized. The crème brûlée, made with real vanilla, was delicious. One negative point, however, is that it's not possible to pay more than half the bill with holiday vouchers. That's disappointing.

02/08/2026: We arrived at 12:15 for lunch; the restaurant wasn't too crowded. We received our starters fairly quickly, then nothing for almost an hour. Tables that arrived after us received their main courses before us. We had to ask the waiter about our order, and it was clear they had forgotten it. Furthermore, as we were leaving and paying, we heard the cook hurling insults at some of the waiters... I don't recommend it. The baby squid and the flank steak were good.

29/07/2026: Dirty and smelly toilets. No air conditioning in the children's area despite it being 41°C outside.

09/07/2026: It's crazy how something's almost always missing from orders: a burger, fries, sauces… There's always something forgotten. The worst is when an ingredient is completely missing from the product. For example, back when the breaded mozzarella burger was on the menu, I was surprised to find there simply wasn't any breaded mozzarella inside when I got home. The same thing happened with the Oasis Tropical Boba: I paid an extra €2 for the sorbet balls… and once I got home, there was no boba in the drink. It really stings to pay extra for something you don't receive. Despite everything, the staff is still friendly and the place is generally quite clean, but I never eat there. However, the "fast" in "fast food" seems to have been somewhat forgotten, as the wait times are often quite long.

13/08/2026: Excellent pizzeria where we enjoyed delicious wood-fired pizzas with a very thin and crispy crust! The desserts were also very good! The café liégeois was excellent and generous, with delicious whipped cream and coffee sauce (one of the best I've had in a restaurant!) 😋 The staff is very friendly! Highly recommended! Special mention: one of the only restaurants open in Oloron Sainte Marie on a Wednesday evening…!

26/07/2026: Saturday, July 25th. Very disappointing. I ate coleslaw with shrimp, and I realized the shrimp were spoiled and had a foul odor. I politely pointed this out to the waitress, who then informed the cook. They removed the shrimp and left the dish as is. The result: food poisoning! I will never return. I am disgusted and sick!

23/07/2026: I come here to get takeaway food and often leave with a free container from the manager! Perfect.

08/06/2026: My first time eating there, which resulted in a nasty bout of indigestion last night. Too bad, it wasn't bad at all.

09/07/2026: Toilets not cleaned, no toilet paper, dirty outdoor tables, overflowing bins, no way to get a receipt with VAT. And it's only 8:30 am.

02/05/2026: I'm a regular customer, but I was disappointed to find that I was sold overcooked, dry croissants—three out of four had to be thrown away. Either they were leftover croissants from the day before, reheated, or they were left in the oven too long... Annoying...

03/07/2026: I walked into this bar and simply ordered a beer in English, thinking it wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, the owner mocked me for speaking English and was disrespectful throughout the entire interaction. As a customer, I expected a minimum of courtesy and respect, regardless of the language I speak. This was a very disappointing experience, and I do not recommend this establishment.

17/05/2026: We came as a family of six without a reservation and were warmly welcomed and served. The food was excellent. I highly recommend going if you're ever in the area.
