15/04/2026: My 10-year-old son went in alone to buy his snack. He burst into tears when he left because the saleswoman was so unpleasant to him! Congratulations: it takes real skill to manage to hurt a child who was just there to buy his snack!

15/04/2026: We were looking for a bakery near the market hall because there weren't any left connected to the market and it was very crowded. We stumbled upon this one and bought what was left: two baguettes. Well, how can I put it? The saleswoman was incredibly unpleasant—no smile, no thank you, no hello, and she only said goodbye after three of us had to say it. And the bread? It tasted moldy or like an uncleaned baking mat. It's truly shameful to sell bread like that in the city center. What surprises me is that, reading the reviews, it seems this has been going on for years and they haven't made any effort to improve. Luckily, there are tourists like us who fall for it and keep this bakery afloat. Otherwise, it would have closed down already. In any case, it will be the last time we set foot in there.

21/06/2026: A place that, at first glance, makes you want to stop and have some tapas. Big mistake!! Unpleasant owner, cold welcome. Right after we ordered, he told people who wanted to eat, "It'll be in fifteen minutes," making it very clear we had to leave... tablecloths folded, music turned off... no bread, no carafe of water. We ordered a mixed platter that was thrown together haphazardly.... In short... avoid it, even though the location is obviously very favorable to them without any effort during the tourist season!! One positive point: very clean toilets.

16/06/2026: We are extremely disappointed. A year and a half ago, the mixed cheese and ham platter was three times the size for the same price. A 0.5l beer costs €7.50. We knew from previous visits that the owner was grumpy, but today he commented on the clearing of the tables with a disgruntled "allez." Thank you so much for the exceptionally friendly service. We hope we never see you again.

22/04/2026: Waffles identical to those at Lopez, but sold here for almost twice the price. However, that's not really what prompted this review. While waiting for my order, I decided to order a "homemade iced tea." To my surprise, I saw the manager pour a can of Lipton Ice Tea into the machine. At first, I tried to put things in perspective by noticing Lipton stickers on the machine, thinking it might be a commercial partnership. The next day, I asked the manager point-blank if the iced teas were homemade. She answered without hesitation that they were. Presenting a mass-produced, watered-down beverage as a homemade product is simply misleading and deeply dishonest towards customers. For truly homemade iced teas that are better and cheaper, I recommend Café Frappé at 54 Rue Saint-Jacques.

31/05/2026: The fries were terrible, they were cooked in old oil! We're against waste, but this was unusable! The glasses and cutlery were filthy! The tables outside weren't cleaned, and the price was far too high for the quality!

12/04/2026: Very expensive for what it is. Guinea fowl served with 8 Brussels sprouts and a few carrots, €13.90 for the dish. And it's cold too! I'm not blaming the staff, but honestly, there's no need to cover it since it's cold. Never again at that price; a sandwich would do just fine.
