13/10/2024: Cuando se le preguntó si el servicio está incluido, el camarero dijo que no, pero se enteró de que por ley el servicio está incluido en todos los restaurantes franceses. Dejamos una propina generosa como lo haríamos en los Estados Unidos, pero ahora estamos muy molestos y no recomiendo este lugar.
28/09/2024: C’était excellent. On a mangé au comptoir car il n’y avait plus de table disponible à la réservation. On a pu choisir notre bouteille directement dans leur cave à vin. Les serveurs étaient très aimables et le cuisinier qui travaillait face à nous également. Options végétariennes disponibles et délicieuses. Cuisine élaborée et quantités généreuses (3 plat à partager pour deux personnes).

L accueil et le service par Madame sont chaleureux et les galettes de Monsieur excellentes..une pâte croustillante et des ingrédients frais et généreux.
08/09/2024: A great little creperie - good service and lovely food. One of us is a veggie, and they were very accommodating with our requests for tweaks to the crepes. Substantial crepe comes with a simple salad. We also had dessert crepes, which were lovely V good value for money. Very friendly staff would definitely recommend

09/12/2024: Incredible place, cozy and the owner is wonderful, he treated us great, he spoke Spanish and helped us a lot. Amazing and giant food, we will definitely return and we highly recommend it
07/12/2024: We ended up there by chance, and the truth is that we really liked the place. The woman who served us and the cook (who came out to say hello later) were very friendly and attentive. The food, although at first looks a little expensive, it is not, since the portions are very large and very good. If we return to Donibane-Lohitzune, we will come here for sure.

Pleasant and welcoming staff
But a real lack of clarity in their explanations: they do not check your file and do not take the gift into account to such an extent that when we left they wanted to invoice us for the sum of €171. I asked them if it was normal even though it was basically a gift. So the reception staff started to check, a controller arrived even though I hadn't noticed that they had called. In the end I only had to pay €23.50.
Really disappointed with this attitude, it's not worthy of a 5 star.

Cuisine simple avec beaucoup de goût. Association des saveurs toujours réussie.
Menu du jour vaut le détour entrée plat et dessert à 19.90 euros . On ne trouve pas pareil dans la région avec la même qualité
Je vais régulièrement et jamais déçus
Seul reproche avec le respect au chef évitez de mettre la brunoise avec la sauce balsamique dans tous les plats
Je recommande allez les yeux fermés.

Exceptional quality food and cooked, in my view to a Michelin star level.
Very well priced with good wine and service was polite and warm
Not had food like this for a very long time!

Glouby beer, surprising and very good.
The pizza was excellent with the spicy oil from home, two servers warned us about the spiciness of this homemade oil.
Everything was perfect, the meal, the music and impeccable service in a good mood.
We're going to go back there.
29/08/2024: Small restaurant, mini terrace....but very friendly waitresses and above all: incredible pizza! I think it's the best pizza I've ever eaten: homemade dough, quality regional product.
The tiramisu was also a great success at our table of connoisseurs.

In terms of cuisine, from the dish to the coffee, everything was perfect. There were 4 of us, we took two cod steaks, a burger and pig cheeks. Very pretty presentation, cooked to perfection, we enjoyed ourselves without being tossed around so we were able to have dessert and coffee which were also excellent. We feel that the cuisine is homemade and that the cooks pay particular attention to the quality of the cooking.
For the same service, nothing to complain about, we were very well received by attentive and knowledgeable servers. They gave very good advice.
In short, a little nugget, we will return with pleasure!

13/11/2024: Come quickly and taste authentic products, come and encourage these beautiful people who give their body and soul to delight you. I went to eat this afternoon. The cuisine is generous. The products are tasty. The price is more than reasonable. You are well received. The farm's products are authentic. I enjoyed the Basque cake, the managers are adorable. It feels like home, I highly recommend it.

11/06/2024: We are from the area, and only came to have a drink and get away a little from what we know about the coast, what can we say other than that we are absolutely delighted with our evening. The setting is not up for debate, and the adorable service from Kitty and the bartender adds a sixth star to the experience.

Perhaps to improve, I would clean the exterior windows of the lodges more frequently (visible dirt and cobwebs). I would add a small stereo in the room. Have a covered boat for rainy days and ensure that the pontxos are always dry if you have to reuse them.

29/08/2024: Day 23/08/24.
We made a reservation for 8 people and ate on the terrace. The space was a little tight.
If you take into account that France is not Spain, when we talk about good food, I have to say that the menu was correct.
The "plat du jour" (dish of the day) had a supplement if they were a little more consistent.
Despite these points, we had a good lunch.
To us, coming from the Basque Country, it seemed more expensive, but we expected it.
Correct everything.
