27/01/2026: Very nice, and close to the stadium, definitely worth a visit, we settled in for a long lunch prior to the rugby match. The staff were attentive, and didn't rush us at all. Place was full, so definitely need to book.

10/01/2026: The service in this bistrot was super friendly and welcoming. They took great care in explaining the menu to us in English. We went for the bistrot menu: three courses for 29.50 euro, a great deal. We loved sitting on the terrace with view on the rive Nive while we enjoyed our food. The server made a small mistake though: he forgot to bring our wine, but since he was so friendly we didn't mind we had to give him a reminder. To finish our meal in style we ordered an armagnac of 15 years old, but since they were out of that armagnac, they offered us the armagnac of 20 years old at the same price. I call that great hospitality!

03/11/2025: Pleasantly surprised by the staff's friendliness and the delicious pizzas. The crust is colorful (probably from the spices), a nice change from others, and excellent. The pizzas are very generously topped and delicious. We were just passing through, but we'll definitely be back. Thank you.

06/12/2025: 2025, a year later, we're back again!! I stand by my previous comment, they were fantastic!!! We'll definitely be back before we leave! Delicious pizzas, excellent value for money!! We ordered takeout and they were ready in 15 minutes!! The place is very nice. Attentive and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2024: Ouvert en Hors saison, quand tout est fermé autour. La planche duo en guise d'apero à ravi les papilles des fans de fromage. Pour la suite nous avons été plus classique avec nos entrecôtes. Cuisson respectée, sauce béarnaise, c'est du local. Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux, les conseils sur les artisans du coin. La mascotte à 4 pattes nous a bien amusé.. Leur intérieur est plus grand que ce que vous apercevez par la fenêtre...la déco participe à l'ambiance chalet montagnard. Mon dessert a la châtaigne était léger et parfait. Merci. Adresse à garder.

03/01/2026: We booked for a birthday celebration; it was our first time there. The manager gave us a wonderful welcome; she was very friendly and lovely. The meal was excellent, especially the hake with risotto! We will gladly return.

29/09/2024: We discovered the restaurant by chance while passing by on the road and it fascinated us. Beautiful and well-kept, easy parking. All the staff were lovely, in particular Carolina who was super friendly and attentive. They gave us a high chair for the baby. Everything we ordered was delicious, the artichokes with clams and serrano chips, the spectacular crab casserole and the squid in its ink. The dessert is also delicious. We want to return to the area and we plan to go again, since we are looking forward to trying some grilled dishes!!!

15/01/2026: We visited La Boete in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and loved the experience. It's a nautical bistro right in the city center, with a very special atmosphere where the Atlantic is present in everything, even the details of the place. We tried several dishes to share, and they were all excellent: haddock tartare, house-made foie gras, tuna ham with hummus, herring tartare with beetroot and capers, and a truly delicious fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce. For dessert, we ordered their crème brûlée "their way," with pineapple at the base. It's a different take on the classic, interesting and well-executed. If you're in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and enjoy good food, this is a highly recommended stop. Good ingredients, excellent preparation, and a lovely atmosphere.

04/01/2026: Excellent! We had some snacks before lunch, we ordered some crepes thinking they would be small but they were huge, very good, great value for money.

02/01/2026: Besides the galettes being delicious and the waiters being very friendly, they served us food at 4 pm. Wonderful because we weren't expecting to find anything open.
