20/06/2024: What a desappointment ! Based on the reviews and having been there 6 years ago, I booked this restaurant for 7 people with my eyes closed. Unfortunately it was a garage sale day! The restaurant was crowded, I was warned it was brunch, which was fine with me. But what really displeased me was that the buffet was out of everything, not even a slice of bread, the height of it! Of course they restocked late, mostly desserts eaten. On the other hand, to be fair, the desserts were good and plentiful. I come to what shocked me the most, it was the bill: €39/person. Not even a proposal to reduce the bill, nor offer aperitifs or coffee, a gesture that would have been commercial. I was ashamed of my life for my guests

06/09/2024: Stylish restaurant set within an upmarket hotel (don’t let that put you off). The menu had a great range of dishes so we opted for the tasting menu which was reasonably priced. Service was nicely paced and welcoming. Our meal took around 2.5 hours and consisted of 5 generous courses. The wine pairing was a nice addition - usually we’d avoid but this was sensibly priced and a decent amount per glass. Would recommend and go back.

14/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel with our children and grandchildren. We had apartment number 2. This apartment is supposed to accommodate up to 10 people. There's really only one bedroom upstairs. There are two not-quite-separated areas, each with a sofa bed. Downstairs, behind the living area, there's an alcove. It's incredibly stuffy. There's another sofa bed in this living area. The skylights in the bedrooms don't have built-in blinds. This is extremely annoying in the mornings during the peak of summer. It's also annoying because blinds prevent the sun's heat from entering the apartment. There's only one bathroom with a toilet. There's no separate toilet in the bathroom, which is a shame considering the number of people this apartment can accommodate. I don't think that's a good idea. The shower head is completely clogged with limescale. The other taps are too. Our children arrived before us. They told us the cleaning wasn't great. I noticed it immediately upon arrival. The front door handle wasn't properly tightened. The two screws were about to fall out. The cooktop, the cupboard above it, and the microwave are in a deplorable state. There's a dish towel in the cutlery drawer. It's in a shameful state. You have to wonder if it's even clean. The bathroom is just as deplorable. The door is no longer white. It doesn't have a lock. The latch is broken off. The front of what looks like a drawer under the sink is ripped off. In the kitchen/dining area, some of the chairs are in a precarious condition. One table is extremely dangerous. Under the tabletop, there are lag bolts in the corners to reinforce the legs. These bolts protrude dangerously. They've been clumsily disguised with wine bottle corks. We absolutely cannot understand how this type of accommodation can still be rented and called an "aparthotel." We don't understand how this kind of establishment can accommodate guests. There is a real lack of professionalism. No checks are carried out between each tenant. These checks could and should be done during the cleaning process. For us, it's a complete disgrace. We will never return to this place. A place to avoid at all costs.

18/07/2025: The apartment was clean and perfectly tidy upon our arrival, the welcome was warm and friendly, and they were available whenever we had questions. We stayed for two days. No complaints whatsoever. We are very surprised by the numerous negative reviews, which, based on our experience, seem excessive and unjustified. All the best to La Ferme de Lucien, and see you soon!

29/06/2026: The hotel isn't air-conditioned even though it's 37°C outside, the rooms are tiny with minimal comfort, there's no wheelchair access, and the hotel is very noisy. In short, very disappointing. Avoid this place.

25/02/2026: I only tried the restaurant, but it was already excellent, very friendly welcome and simply magnificent setting! Clean and helpful staff. I highly recommend it!!

17/08/2024: Accueil déplorable et méprisant... On dirait que les clients dérangent alors que c'est vide ! Et se font remballer par des serveurs et serveuses absolument arrogants et en plus c'est pas bon ! Je ne conseille absolument pas cet endroit qui pourtant est bien placé... Je ne reviendrais jamais pr le faire traiter de la sorte !

12/08/2024: Vraiment pas terrible. On a pris une salade Paysanne, des légumes surgelés, 1 maigre tranche de fromage au chèvre sur un plat avec de la laitue à foison et de la sauce à salade blanche industrielle. 17.50€ On serait dans une petite cantine sans prétention et pas trop chère, ça passerait encore, c’était mangeable, mais là les prix sont vraiment excessivement élevés. On a aussi pris les filets de perches (pas ceux du Lac, ils en avaient plus), frites surgelées, salade avec la même sauce blanche. 30.50€ Ok, on a les pieds dans l’eau, mais c’est pas les Bahamas, on a les bateaux des privés qui ch*ent leur essence dans l’eau à côté, pas la vue du siècle, et une vue ne justifiera jamais un prix en tel décalage avec cette qualité médiocre de nourriture. Sérieusement c’est Evian, on paye les mêmes prix à Montreux pour des plats bien meilleurs et des cadres plus luxueux. Le personnel était pas forcément désagréable, mais ça se sentait que c’était de la politesse désintéressée et forcée juste pour le pourboire, j’attends pas à ce qu’on me lèche le tdb mais bon.

01/08/2024: Vue magnifique, décoration agréable MAIS le service est franchement à revoir ( apéritif terminé toujours pas débarrassé au dessert !, service aléatoire et approximatif ) et rien de fou dans l’assiette : les intitulés sont un peu pompeux mais ça ne nous a pas convaincu. Surtout vu le prix élevé, on s’attendait à bien mieux. Dommage

21/07/2024: L’endroit est exceptionnel, un magnifique bâtiment, une vue splendide. Le personnel au petit soin accueillant sympathique et très professionnel. Nous y avons passé un déjeuner très agréable des plats parfaits goûteux très bien exécuté. Nous y avons passé un bon moment avec notre chien refusé à l’Abbaye et très bien accueilli ici Nous reviendrons. Merci

04/07/2024: Serveur extrêmement désagréable et de mauvaise foi. Erreur de commande. Incapable de prendre deux commandes identiques en même temps. Attente de plus d'une heure pour être servi. Le slogan affiché sur la devanture du restaurant précise accueil avec le sourire. Nous le cherchons toujours ! On peut espérer un peu de professionnalisme, c'est loin d'être le cas. Il paraît que la restauration a du mal à recruter du personnel compétent : je confirme ! Bon courage si vous optez pour ce "restaurant". Belle découverte !!! Ci-après la banderole d'accueil. Si j'avais pu noté zéro.... Mais cette possibilité n'est pas offerte !!!

12/05/2024: Nous avant été accueilli par un jeune serveur très polis qui nous a pris notre commande mais ensuite nous avant attendu 30min pour mangé notre entre et 1h30 de plus pour qu’on puisse avoir nos plat je trouve sa du n’importe quoi car après 1h20 d’attente on reviens vers nous en nous demandent si on a déjà étais servis des salades par une serveuse très nonchalante qui nous regarde très mal et ensuite le chef de salle nous parle mal et il cite “ sortez de MON restaurant ”
