To my surprise, today, 11/14, at 4:58 p.m., a young waitress with long, well-groomed hair and good makeup, came directly next to my table and aggressively and arrogantly planted a small board on the table written that, from 7 p.m. the said table was reserved and you had to go out. The lady there who had just returned her cup to the bar, got up slowly and delicately, collected her basket and her cell phone and left. It turns out that this lady is a lawyer at the Montpellier Court of Appeal, recognized and respected. She frequented the place discreetly. I have crossed paths many times. Very unfortunate for the image of La Panacée this kind of gratuitous aggression on the part of a waitress and in ignorance concerning her customers. Besides, all customers deserve respect.

In the end we received a great welcome in addition to good advice on the menu. The meat and cooking was wonderful, the fresh homemade fries and the delicious pepper sauce still come to mind because it was so good. My sweetheart had an excellent salmon risotto with slices of grilled chorizo ​​on top. Very nice surprise. But the icing on the cake was the bread we had as an accompaniment. Hot bread, toasted with olive oil. Excellent, it was the first time I was offered this in a restaurant. Very generous portions (I usually come away feeling slightly hungry from a classic restaurant if I don't have dessert) Go ahead, it's a must, I'm disgusted to live 300km from this restaurant

A la porte d entree 2 dames fument et a notre remarque l,une des 2 nous agresse verbalement avec grossierete..re-bravo..or il s,agit de la patronne....nous sommes repartis..!!! Restaurant a surveiller...

15/11/2025: Thursday, November 13th, 12 PM service: A truly terrible experience. The waitress had absolutely no way of speaking to customers—cold, unsmiling, and unwelcoming. Her manner of speaking, tone, and attitude were frankly unpleasant. I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me at all; it was almost disrespectful. This kind of behavior really makes me not want to come back. When you go to a restaurant, you expect a minimum of welcome and consideration. Here, it was the complete opposite. The establishment should seriously review its service staff because with such an attitude, it completely ruins the experience! A warm welcome and good service are important; they are part of the establishment's brand image.
