04/06/2026: I picked up a four-cheese pizza to go from Milano Pizza, a wood-fired pizza place in Pont-l’Évêque. A few hours after eating it, I was sick all night with symptoms that led me to suspect food poisoning. The next day, I was unable to go to work. This pizza was the only thing I had eaten that evening, which makes me think it might have been the cause of my illness. In any case, this was a very unpleasant experience and cost me a day of work. I'm simply sharing my personal experience, but I will not be returning to this establishment and I do not recommend it.

13/07/2026: Delighted with my visit today to find a replacement watch strap. The person at Mistermint recommended I try a competitor since I didn't find the perfect strap in her shop. She directed me to a nearby store where I found what I was looking for. Very welcoming and friendly, I highly recommend Mistermint (shoe repair, watch straps, etc.) where I found their assistance very helpful. I'll gladly return, even just for a quick visit 😉

20/07/2026: If the waiter repeatedly pretends not to understand the phrase "water carafe," insist... it's just to push you to buy drinks. I almost contacted the DGCCRF (French consumer protection agency). The waiter probably thought I was a tourist who had just arrived, since the restaurant is right outside the Gare du Nord train station.

12/07/2026: Since we had such fond memories of last year's visit, we went back to Café Foresta for dinner this year. We were especially happy to see Carlos again, who was incredibly friendly last year. Therefore: highly recommended!

11/07/2026: The restaurant was taken over two weeks ago. The pizzas are excellent! Tender crust, quality ingredients… warm welcome and they take the time to chat with their customers. A very good experience. And very reasonable prices.
