24/03/2026: Nice pizzeria on Boulevard Diderot... The service and pizza quality were excellent, but unfortunately the establishment has been closed since March 18, 2026... The facade is covered in white paint, so renovations and perhaps a change of ownership are underway...

20/03/2026: I went at 7 PM to order a pizza, even though online and on the storefront it said "takeaway only." Anyway, since I was wearing sweatpants (not white), the owner refused me entry. It was 7:05 PM, the opening time was 7 PM, but they refused me entry and wouldn't take my order. I say, just walk away.

02/03/2026: A simple but friendly welcome, vintage decor, and an intimate, calm atmosphere. The food (calzone) is tasty and hearty, and the dessert is generous. Excellent value for money; I recommend it for a simple meal and a good appetite.

My particular issue was handled with care, and they found solutions quickly. I was greeted by Cathy: the epitome of kindness and gentleness. The restaurant is clean, and the decor is very pleasant. The prices are reasonable; it's not very expensive, and the portions are generous. Thank you. I will return and I highly recommend it.

06/01/2026: I come to this pizzeria occasionally. The quality has never wavered: the pizzas and pasta are truly excellent. I'm taking off one star because of the drink prices: €8 for a non-alcoholic cocktail and €26 for a 50cl carafe of Italian wine—that's steep. So come eat here, but drink water.

29/03/2026: We received a very poor welcome last night: they took the time to find a table for the four young women in front of us, who had come without a reservation, but as for us, they simply said, "I won't get anything for you..." while barely looking at us and immediately addressing the people behind us... It's time to change professions if you're not capable of welcoming customers (without whom you are nothing) with a little courtesy!

The Welcome and Atmosphere As soon as you step through the door at 15 Avenue du Général de Gaulle, you're instantly transported to Italy. The welcome from Pietro and Corinne is both warm and genuine. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, and watching the pizzas being prepared right in front of you adds a real charm to the experience. The restaurant is pleasant, well-air-conditioned in the summer, and even has a small terrace. On the Plate: Quality and Generosity Lovers of authentic Italian-Sicilian cuisine will not be disappointed. The Pizzas: The dough is excellent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected (a beautiful blend of products sourced directly from Italy and producers in the Lot-et-Garonne region). The Pasta: The portions are particularly generous (you'll need a good appetite to make it to dessert!). Everything is homemade with a genuine passion for flavor. Value for Money This is one of Casa Pietro's major strengths. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality offered. The lunch menu (main course + dessert + coffee) at around €17 is a real bargain. Bonus: the 10% discount on takeaway orders is very welcome after a long day at work. Practical Information to Keep in Mind Please note, however, that the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Saturday (lunch and dinner). The price of success and quality means the dining room fills up quickly, so I highly recommend booking your table in advance. The restaurant is also fully accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). In Conclusion Whether you're just passing through Villeneuve-sur-Lot or a regular in the area, Casa Pietro is a must-visit if you're looking for generous and authentic Italian cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

22/09/2025: Ordered 5 pizzas (Cévenole x 2, Biker, Romaine, 4 cheeses). Good dough, perfectly cooked, and tasty pizzas. Very friendly managers too!

24/08/2025: You can eat on the terrace or inside (air-conditioned, a little too much for my taste, though). I ate one of the best pizzas of my life (the biker). The dough was delicious, the crust not too thick and very soft, the topping generous, a real delight!

14/02/2026: A great find! We received a warm welcome and the pizzas were delicious. At €11, L'Aveyronnaise is excellent value for money. (See photo) I recommend this pizzeria for its taste, atmosphere, and reasonable prices. They bake their pizzas in a large, traditional oven.
