10/05/2026: Simply a delight. I'm Sicilian and I've lived in France for 12 years. While passing through Nîmes, I discovered this restaurant, which is simply a gem and truly allowed me to rediscover the authentic flavors of Sicilian cuisine.
Bravo! Keep up the good work!
P.S.: You make the best cannolo in France, totally comparable to the ones I'm used to and have the pleasure of eating in Sicily! ❤️

15/07/2026: We came for the set lunch menu, as indicated on the menu we were given, but we were told it wasn't available during the holidays. However, there was no mention of this outside or on the menu itself. We were forced to order à la carte. The meat dishes served were of good quality and plentiful. We regret the lack of transparency beforehand (we weren't the only ones asking for the set lunch menu...).
13/07/2026: I had a great time at this restaurant. The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The ribeye steak was particularly generous and cooked to perfection.
The desserts, meanwhile, were simply magnificent, a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
The only downside was the kitchen's flexibility: I find it frankly outrageous that even the slightest change to a dish is automatically charged, whether it's adding or simply removing an ingredient. It's a bit rigid and detrimental to the customer service.
Overall, the experience was positive and the quality was definitely there.

16/07/2026: Gelateria Verdi makes good pizzas, but I wouldn't recommend it for that. I'd recommend it more for their ice cream, which is some of the best I've ever tasted. However, it's very expensive, especially considering it's in the Parisian suburbs. The same goes for their pizzas, which are very expensive and which I wouldn't recommend because they're not worth the price you have to pay for a pizza that's good but nothing special.
20/06/2026: The ice cream is good, but the service... the waitress is curt and the man with the cap at the till is incredibly slow, seriously, he needs to wake up, give him some coffee

01/07/2026: I ordered salad with steak. The salad was good but the steak was basically just minced meat. The service was good, the man serving us was very nice.
29/06/2026: This was the best dining experience during our stay in Nice. The service was fantastic, the mood was great and it was very nice to sit inside with air conditioning during the heat. Our waiter was phenomenal and very charming.

Just be a little patient on busy days when the service can be a bit slow. It's a shame they don't offer some crisps to nibble on with an aperitif.

07/07/2026: We walked past this restaurant where there was a queue before it even opened... Passing by again an hour later, the queue was shorter, so we thought, "Let's go in, it must be amazing!" We went in after a 5-minute wait to find the dining room far from full... in short... the organization was bizarre.
We were seated, then the person left without a menu, nothing. Five minutes later, someone came back and said, "We didn't give you the menu, oops!" We ordered (there were five of us). Two dishes arrived, then the others 10 minutes later, so not great... The desserts were the same, a 20-minute wait, and the bottle of water wasn't any better...
In short, the service was terrible, but never mind. As for the food, the pizzas were good (nothing exceptional, decent size, same for the toppings), the pasta and ravioli were very good, and the gnocchi in sauce needed more salt (but I didn't dare ask because it would probably have taken several hours to season). (arrives)
We had two standard ice creams for dessert, no complaints.
So much for appearances being deceiving: the food was quite good, but the service was absolutely terrible. Luckily, we weren't in a hurry.

23/07/2026: This is our second time here and the pizza is perfect again: thin crust, toppings, and a generous size for a reasonable price. Friendly service, in short, a pleasure.
21/07/2026: Very cozy restaurant, packed with people and a great atmosphere. Kudos to the maître d' who ran their socks off to keep every guest happy. Great food and great wine!

12/07/2026: We spent 3 nights in Lyon in June. My wife and both agreed that the Eggplant Parmesan from Assaggi was our best meal of this trip. We would like to come back to Lyon just to explore the menu here in more depth. This little take out was very near our AirBnb and our best culinary find in Lyon!
22/06/2026: We ordered a buffet of starters, the main course (lasagna), and a cheese platter for a reception of 30 people, and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!

08/04/2026: Lunch in the sunshine in March was lovely. The end of the season was evident, few people and the staff seemed tired... a bit cold, which was a shame. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the bill was a little steep, but you treat yourself on vacation. 🙏
