31/07/2026: Aggressive service. The food is a jumble of products bought from a supplier with no added value whatsoever. Add to that exorbitant prices and a wine list with only two selections: one at €35 and the other at €130... Avoid at all costs.

31/07/2026: We visited this cozy Italian restaurant yesterday, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. On the culinary side, everything was fantastic. We ordered the lasagna, and a plate for two which were exceptionally generous, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The owner, who managed and served alongside one waiter, was wonderfully polite, efficient, and added a very pleasant, authentic atmosphere by greeting us with a few Italian words while communicating mostly in English. Unfortunately, the overall experience was heavily impacted by the poor service from the waiter. Basic hospitality standards were noticeably missing: * **Water:** When we asked for a bottle of tap water, he tried to push bottled sparkling or still water instead. He also completely forgot our request and brought nothing instead Only when the owner served the dishes we asked again and he brought us water quite fast. * **Wine Service:** When serving our wine, he poured it as fast as possible and rushed away, never checking on us again. * **Attentiveness & Basic Requests:** We needed olive oil and salt, but because the waiter never came back to check on the table, we had to get up and ask him directly. He promised to bring them, but never did. We finally got what we needed only when the owner walked by and brought it immediately after we asked him a second time. * **Atmosphere:** The waiter carried a distinctly unpleasant aura, and at the end of the meal during payment—when it was likely obvious we were dissatisfied—neither of them bothered to ask how everything went. The kitchen and the owner are wonderful, but good food can only go so far when the service falls completely short of what one expects.

04/09/2026: Clearly not the quantity I expected. Even more so considering the price. 9 euros for a panini, and I'm still looking for the chicken. The quality isn't there either. They're making a comfortable profit margin, apparently 😡

06/09/2026: A very mediocre pizza. Would not necessarily recommend this restaurant. Aug./Sep 2026 decided to give this restaurant a third chance as it was very convenient for my hotel. Everything was going fine - the food seemed to have improved - until I could not believe what I was seeing. The taller of the two waiters who were on duty the last Sunday of August brought in a plate of food which he put on a work surface and proceeded to blow on. I obviously continued watching and to my horror he turned the plate around and blew all around the edge. Does he know nothing about food hygiene?? How can a restaurant allow such a person to act as a waiter?? If this was in full view of the customers I hate to think what goes on in the kitchen. Would not recommend because of this major lapse in food hygiene standards and will definitely not be going back again.

31/08/2026: It's a disgrace to serve such tasteless dishes; everything was bland. Grilled vegetable antipasti 🤣 boiled vegetables, fish salads (the salmon was unappetizing), pizzas with very few toppings, and the desserts: profiteroles were a complete disaster 🫪, the industrial-looking cream puffs were rubbery, the tiramisu was disgusting, and the pavlova with red berries (one strawberry and three red currants)... in short... a complete rip-off. How do they manage to stay open?

04/09/2026: A group of 16 without a reservation was welcomed by a staff that was both professional and helpful. Good pizzas, tasty dishes, and an unforgettable Sambuca to finish. All in all, excellent in a location that caters to more touristy eateries.

02/09/2026: Quick service, even though the place was almost full. Friendly and professional, excellent pizza! We returned after 11 months and I stand by what I wrote!

17/09/2026: Delicious dinner just a short hop down from the Seine! Really great food, and they happily welcomed us in shortly before closing too! The pasta was great, as were the pizzas. The general ambiance was really nice too, nice colours on the wall and very pleasant warm lighting.

15/09/2026: A disappointing discovery today, as the quality of the pizzas has become extremely poor. They used to be absolutely top-notch, but now it seems like there's been a radical change; the dough and the cheese are nothing like they used to be!

26/09/2026: Inedible. The potatoes in the fisherman's pot were undercooked, the pizza dough was more like puff pastry, the wine was corked, and when we told the waitress, she completely ignored us. It's a shame, I was a regular customer. I loved the octopus stew, which, by the way, is no longer on the menu. I often recommended this place, but not anymore. This restaurant is now to be avoided... sorry to tell the truth.

19/09/2026: I ordered the "President" pizza. Very good. The service was quick and very friendly. I ate on the terrace, which looks more like a garden. Worth a visit ☺️
