07/02/2026: The pasta is still good. We went to L'Arlequine tonight and, for the first time since 2012, we were disappointed. The quality of the ingredients has dropped, and so has the quantity. What a shame 😭. Not to mention the white sauce, which was practically invisible. The ham, or perhaps the shoulder, was extremely salty.

02/02/2026: Honestly... Just keep walking. They're very nice and all that, no problem there, but the fact that they were world champions 15 years ago really skews things. The pizza is barely passable. The classic pizzas are frankly awful (and I'm sorry to say it, I really am). The Neapolitan pizzas are frankly average, what you'd expect from a typical mid-range pizzeria... But at €17 a pizza. I'm sorry, but you can definitely find much better elsewhere.

27/12/2025: I had a really excellent meal. It was truly delicious. The setting was pleasant and unpretentious. The owner, despite his somewhat gruff manner, is very friendly. I don't know many restaurants in Saumur that offer a complimentary glass of champagne at the end of the meal after you've paid the bill. I don't understand the overwhelmingly negative reviews. To dare to say it's not good, that it's frozen food, etc., etc... simply untrue. We arrived as a party of five and were warmly welcomed, as were all the other customers who arrived later. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed every course, and our plates were returned empty to the kitchen.

27/03/2026: Unacceptable and shameful!! I ordered a Sprite, and was served a flat lemonade for €4.50. I simply pointed out that the drink wasn't sparkling, and the owner immediately reacted aggressively and contemptuously. Inappropriate remarks in front of everyone, a condescending tone, and gratuitous judgments despite not knowing me at all ("I know you, you're never happy" — completely false). No sense of customer service, no respect for the customer. An arrogant and inappropriate attitude from beginning to end. We obviously left without eating. Unacceptable behavior for a professional. Such behavior is shameful and scandalous. Avoid at all costs.

22/02/2026: The worst pizzas I've had in a long time. They're nothing but dough and a questionable topping (the peppers were a real hoot, making us burst out laughing) for €12 and €14. And the can of soda for €3, of course.
