28/08/2026: A very bad experience at Fédéral. I ordered a mortadella pinsa, and the disappointment was immediate: the dough was so dry it was difficult to cut, it was like a potato chip. A pinsa is supposed to be light, soft, and airy, but this one was nothing like that. I expressed my disappointment to the waiter during my meal. His response left me perplexed: he explained that he had started his shift at 1 p.m., that service was continuous, and that the neighboring pizzeria delivered the pinsas to them. Since we had arrived around 4 p.m., the pinsas served were from the lunch service, as the new ones hadn't arrived yet. In other words, they knowingly serve products that have been sitting for several hours, even if they are inedible, and this seems to be considered normal. No apology, no offer of a solution: just this explanation, and then he left. My friends ordered the beef tacos (€19): three pieces, ridiculously small, dry, tasteless, and clearly under-seasoned. While eating them, they wondered if a sauce was missing. The waiter himself said, "Oh, you didn't get the sauces?" before going back to get them. We had to wait quite a while, then make a trip back to the terrace, before he finally remembered to bring them. And the supposedly missing sauce turned out to be olive oil. When paying, I expressed my dissatisfaction at the register. Again, no self-reflection: I received an unpleasant response, with a remark along the lines of "we serve 60,000 pinsas," and they didn't even say goodbye. In the end, we all had different dishes, and the conclusion was the same everywhere: dry, bland, stingy portions, far below the prices charged. Spending over €130 only to leave still hungry and with a bad taste in my mouth is hardly acceptable at that price. The most disappointing thing isn't even the quality of the food, but the staff's attitude towards a legitimate complaint. I would have simply expected an apology, a professional explanation, and a minimum of consideration. It's clear that profit takes precedence over quality and customer satisfaction. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment: poor quality, no willingness to learn, and an unpleasant reception as soon as you dare to make a comment. At that price, you have the right to expect much better.

25/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent restaurant in Cannes, on Rue Hoche! The welcome is wonderful, the service attentive and very pleasant. The ingredients are fresh, flavorful, and of exceptional quality. A simply incredible experience! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. For me, Restaurant Fédéral is one of the best in Cannes. I highly recommend it!

11/07/2026: We were warmly welcomed at this restaurant. The service was quick and attentive. The pizzas were delicious, with a thin and crispy crust. For dessert, we chose the French toast with salted caramel: it was absolutely divine. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. People chat amongst themselves and are very friendly to those who aren't from the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

22/04/2026: I've been to this pizzeria several times with friends, and everything had always gone well, but our last experience was truly unacceptable. We ordered a takeaway pizza with honey and goat cheese. There was probably a mix-up: my friend said "miel" (honey) and I said "honey." When we got home and opened the box, we discovered a completely different pizza, with meat and hot sauce (which is particularly problematic since my friend is vegetarian). We calmly returned to the restaurant to explain the situation, even apologizing for the possible confusion. Despite this, the pizza maker's reaction was completely disproportionate: he became angry, raised his voice, and insisted that the mistake was entirely ours. He made no attempt to find a solution. The most disappointing aspect was the manager's attitude, who witnessed the scene without intervening, allowing his employee to continue speaking to us aggressively. When we asked if we should pay for the new pizza, the pizza maker started yelling again, blaming us for the mistake, even though it was obvious we would never have ordered a meat pizza, especially since one of us is vegetarian. The experience was so unpleasant that we decided never to return. Mistakes happen, but how customers are treated makes all the difference—and here, it was very poor.

22/04/2026: We were regular customers of this establishment for a while, but after what happened, we won't be going back. One day, we ordered a "honey" pizza, but the pizza maker thought we had "Haníbal" (meat). Being vegetarian, when we received the pizza and realized the mistake, we tried to return it calmly and respectfully. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding or at least handling the situation professionally, the pizza maker reacted very rudely. He spoke to us disrespectfully, refused any solution, and blamed us, showing no interest whatsoever in resolving the problem or treating regular customers properly. I can understand that mistakes happen, especially with language, but what is unacceptable is the lack of respect and the attitude towards customers. Making mistakes is human; mistreating customers is not. I do not recommend this place.

15/09/2026: The service really needs improvement. The cashier was very cold and answered with a lot of nonchalance. When I asked what pizzas were available, I was simply told, "Everything is on the kiosk." It's a shame there wasn't even a flyer or menu at the counter so I could look at the options at my leisure. As for the food, the four-cheese pizza was quite disappointing, and the panuzzo were nothing special either. In total, €39 with drinks… For that price, I clearly expected better, both in terms of service and quality.

At some point, we're not animals! It was morning, so no excuses like "it's the end of the day, I'm tired." And since this isn't the first time, I'm never going back!
