31/08/2026: Truly mediocre. I ordered a scampi salad with parsley… there wasn't a single sprig of parsley in it. I pointed it out. The response: "I'll tell the kitchen." I ate my salad using the pizza knife that was provided since they didn't change my cutlery… really inconvenient. My husband ordered a seafood casserole; the salmon cubes were frozen, so we had to send his plate back to the kitchen. And the octopus in his casserole was as tough as a shoe sole. Not a single gesture of goodwill on the bill. The table next to ours had to ask for someone to take their order. The pizzas are excellent, and we'll continue to get them there, but we won't eat in anymore and will only order pizzas.

29/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The dishes were delicious from start to finish. A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to the staff who were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We will definitely be back!

It's simply delicious, very generously topped, and full of character. You can really taste the quality of the local ingredients. A pizza I wholeheartedly recommend, a real treat! 👌

19/07/2026: I very much enjoyed my 4 nights at the Hilton Paris Opéra. Check-in was quick and the room was ready. I am Diamond with Hilton and understand the hotel was full with no upgrades possible. I did not expect to get one, and the room I got was perfectly fine. It was on the smaller side, but it had smart storage to make the most of the space. The bathroom was very elegantly decorated and was at least big enough to fit in. There are other hotels in Paris where you have to leave the door open while inside. I also had a complimentary bottle of white wine in the refrigerator as a welcome gift. I'm not sure if that was due to my Hilton status or it being my birthday week or just normal practice, but it was very much appreciated. The location is fantastic. It's right off Saint-Lazare station making it easy to get just about anywhere on the Metro or some regional trains. The entrance with the bronze stacked suitcases (Consigne à vie) is the quickest option from the hotel and also immediately has escalators. There is an elevator in that station for those with mobility issues (and suitcases), but it's hard to recommend the Metro with suitcases unless it's at very off-peak hours. This will give you access to the 14 and RER trains - you'll encounter some sort of stairs with the 3, 12, and 13, though. That will make getting from Montparnasse difficult if you need accessibility (it's the 12 or 13 trains). The 14 trains have air conditioning as a bonus fact. There were many restaurants within walking distance and many shops as well. The Nicolas (on Haussman) wine store just a few minutes away is a great place to get a nice bottle of wine, too. Make note of the Alsatian building the McDonald's is in across from the hotel. It stands out and is just something extra to admire. It used to be unusual to be this hot in Paris, but I do have to address the heat vs the hotel. Visiting years ago, it never seemed to get above 32-33C (90ish F) in the summer, but now 37/38+C (100+F) is so much more common. I think the hotel needs to evaluate it's air conditioning system. My room stayed at a constant 26/27, and that's unpleasant to sleep in. They did bring up a fan upon request, and that helped. Knowing that these heat waves aren't going to go away, some improvements are going to be necessary with this type of property. The hotel is too nice to be marred by being uncomfortable when sleeping. Had I been there a week later when it was much cooler, I doubt I'd even notice. Just be aware if staying in the summer and excessive heat is predicted. The Executive Club was nice with a decent offering in the evenings of drinks and light bites. The staff there was friendly, and it didn't seem to get unnecessarily crowded at any point in time. The breakfast served there is OK, and it would be best to go the the main breakfast area unless in a hurry. The main breakfast was very nice with lots of hot options, made-to-order omelettes, wonderful cheeses, and a staff that was very pleasant, too. I had nice drinks at Le Grand Salon. It's worth a visit at least once since it's beautiful. I would love to stay here again the next time in Paris.

14/07/2026: If you plan on staying here just know that the train metro is really loud at night and you cannot sleep well! Also, staff is rude. Not a good service at all. And one of our family members got intoxicated from the buffet! They do not take care of their food items like they should. Air conditioning doesn’t cool because the building is really old and you cannot sleep! Really dissapointed.

22/05/2026: As a lover of fine dining, from small, authentic restaurants to Michelin-starred establishments, I found La Notté in Saint-Zacharie to be a delightful discovery. 📍 Address: 5 Avenue Gaston de Saporta, 83640 Saint-Zacharie We started with a simple but very pleasant rosé from the Auriol cooperative. The welcome was warm and the service attentive throughout the meal. We ordered grilled sea bass and linguine with clams. The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, light, and very well seasoned. The pasta was excellent: cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice, fresh cherry tomatoes, and a flavorful cheese that provided a lovely finishing touch. For dessert, we ended on a high note with a tarte Tatin and a nougat glacé, both of which were very enjoyable. Before discussing price, we must talk about quality. You generally pay for what you eat, and when you want good food, it inevitably comes at a price. But here, the value for money is very reasonable: around €35 ​​per person for a wonderful evening in a pleasant atmosphere. A very welcome bonus: the establishment is animal-friendly, which adds even more warmth and friendliness to the place. A simple, pleasant, and genuine place that I can recommend without hesitation.

02/05/2026: On May 1st, we received a warm welcome, fast service, and a perfect pizza. The tagine was succulent, with perfectly cooked meat, crisp vegetables, and medium-grain couscous, wonderfully fragrant. We'll definitely be back. While the owner may have been a little lax at one point, as can happen to anyone, his recovery has been more than surprising. It just goes to show, you have to trust people.

02/09/2026: Nou’man was our server at Square Delicatessen in Strasbourg. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal of salad and Linghini Saison. We recommend Square Delicatessen if you are looking for great Italian food!!

25/11/2025: Permanently closed. We made a reservation by phone for a large table on Saturday, November 22nd at 12:30 PM. It's closed. A passerby who works at the town hall said the restaurant is permanently closed.

12/11/2025: I used to go to Fuxia, but the quality is no longer there. The menu is now very limited compared to before, and the service and atmosphere are barely acceptable—the spirit of the old Italian restaurant is gone. The cleanliness also leaves much to be desired. It's a shame, the place had so much potential.

15/08/2026: The pizzas are like the service: awful. A woman of about sixty at the till, as friendly as a prison guard. As for the pizzas, I'd rather eat Sodebo from Intermarché; the crust is way overcooked, like eating plastic, and the bacon and Gruyère cheese are cheap... in short, not a single positive point.

My son sat down on the terrace, and the staff removed his table to give it to a group that had just arrived. This blatant lack of respect towards regular customers is unacceptable.
