15/08/2026: I don't understand some of the criticism; I ate there during the week, the fries were crispy and golden, Cédric's service is always top-notch, very friendly and offers great advice on beers.

16/09/2026: UPDATE: 9/16: The welcome was icy, the salmon had a really strange and dry taste. Several of us customers saw a mouse in the restaurant. The first time was okay, but not great. Today it was bad and yucky. The place is beautiful, the menu is extensive. The staff took the time to explain the menu. The food was average. The Hakame salad was good, the sushi was average. Okay, but not great.

16/09/2026: Excellent restaurant; the all-you-can-eat menu allows you to sample a variety of dishes. The service is friendly and the decor is beautiful. I recommend it for lovers of Asian cuisine.

10/08/2026: I am horrified because once I came to eat at your restaurant (it was a while ago, but I'm only posting this review now), one of your waiters went to the restroom and, after defecating, left without washing his hands. I know this because I was in the restroom the whole time and I saw him leave without washing his hands. I have made it a point never to return to your restaurant. Hygiene is the foundation of everything.

31/05/2026: A very bad experience. Passing through Lille before catching a train, I stopped at this establishment and was very disappointed. When I asked if there was liquid soap in the restrooms, the person who answered me did so rudely, telling me that the establishment was "normally already closed." The hygiene of the restrooms seemed inadequate. As for the food, the taco was mainly composed of fries, with very little meat. The whole thing was bland and lacked flavor, and the bread was over-toasted for my taste. As a lover of Italian cuisine and good food in general, I did not enjoy this experience. I will not return and I do not recommend this establishment based on my visit.

26/06/2026: Good food. Drinks quite expensive. The thing that put me off: seeing mice coming out of the kitchen...it made me tense, we didn't stay.

19/08/2026: It had been a long time since a restaurant had disappointed me this much! First, I went to the restroom. In my family, we say that this reflects the hygiene of the kitchen... I wondered if I should just leave the restaurant immediately... Then, knowing that everyone at the table had to order either the à la carte menu or the all-you-can-eat menu, but being vegetarian, I didn't want to bother my friend, so we ordered the all-you-can-eat menu. Avocado sushi wasn't included in the all-you-can-eat menu, even though it was on the regular menu (and cheaper than salmon sushi, which was). It was impossible to get avocado sushi without paying for it separately. They're within their rights, but it's really bad business practice... I didn't get wasabi with my maki rolls, unlike my friend. During the second course, I pointed out that they had forgotten to bring me dessert for the first course and that I wanted it... they forgot again. The restaurant closes at 11:00 PM, and at 10:12 PM we were told that the kitchen would be closing soon, our last chance to order... of course, they didn't offer us dessert. The floor was practically swept over our feet while we were still seated. And I haven't even mentioned the air conditioning blasting directly onto the first table we were offered, or the staff's lack of friendliness... The restaurant business isn't for everyone.

10/08/2026: ⭐ Very disappointed, and yet we were regular customers. We used to come to Sushi Kyo regularly, especially because we love their chirashi. Unfortunately, after our last experience, we won't be going back. We came for a family meal with our daughters. Some wanted the all-you-can-eat option and others wanted to order à la carte. We were then told that everyone at a table had to choose the same option. Fine: even though it bothered us since we had come to eat as a family, we accepted the rule and decided to sit at two separate tables, slightly apart. But that still wasn't enough. We were asked to completely separate ourselves from our daughters and sit far enough apart from each other in the restaurant. In short: either we agreed to eat our family meal separately, or we left. So we left. I can perfectly understand a restaurant implementing rules to prevent an all-you-can-eat meal from being shared with someone who ordered à la carte. What I don't understand is how a rule presented as applying to "the entire table" ends up meaning that a family seated at two different tables must be completely separated within the restaurant. Especially since Sushi Kyo isn't just an all-you-can-eat restaurant: it also has an à la carte menu, and it was precisely for this menu, and particularly their excellent chirashi bowls, that we were regular customers. It's a real shame because we really enjoyed their food. But asking parents who have come to eat with their children to separate completely within the restaurant or to leave is a way of treating customers that we don't accept. We will therefore not be returning.

A truly original concept: selling a dream. Then there are the prices… €4 for a simple orange juice? Thanks for this trip into luxury; I didn't realize I'd entered a palace. Let's talk about the queue: a 20-minute wait in a bakery in the morning is impressive. People often come before work, but clearly their schedules are less important than the store's organization. Only one person at the till during peak hours—they had some nerve. And the coffee… €1.90 for the equivalent of a sip. At that price, I thought I'd at least get to take the cup home as a souvenir. But no, just a tiny amount of coffee and a strong feeling of having been ripped off. In short, between missing products, outrageous prices and endless waiting, there are clearly some points to review.

07/07/2026: Very fast service, lovely location surrounded by trees. Had the mocha and apricot pastry which were both delicious, also gave me a little free pastry which was super lovely of them. Definitely recommend!

08/09/2026: The welcome was good, but I expected to find tartiflette on the menu, as I had seen on their website. However, the fries were lukewarm and there wasn't enough vinaigrette dressing for the salad.

08/09/2026: This was unfortunately the worst pizza I've ever bought. The pizza wasn't made with fresh dough, but from pre-baked bases. There was hardly any topping, so it was very dry and tasteless. A frozen pizza would have tasted better and wouldn't have cost €13.90. So, get your pizza somewhere else, but not here!!!

05/09/2026: The wait was very long, and on top of that, they made a mistake in the ingredients. I recommend it only if you have plenty of time.

06/11/2025: Not great. The salmon pizza was loaded with salmon but had nothing else on top… the portion of dough was too small; you'd need two slices to fill an average adult… for the price, it was pretty bad.

05/11/2025: Very disappointed by this restaurant; many things were missing (no Italian wines, no scallops, no stuffed ravioli). The pizzas were far too overcooked and dry, and the cook made an unpleasant remark suggesting adding water.

31/08/2026: We had a very good meal; Alex and Victor were our waiters and made sure we had a great time.

19/08/2026: Good pizza. Undercooked, egg ooze present. Two pizzas for my appetite. Only one beer. Only rosé. No dessert. Are we in the sticks?

31/07/2026: These are the worst tacos I've ever eaten, made by the most disgusting kebab shop imaginable. Don't eat there again. It's the best way to get sick. Go somewhere else instead…
