07/12/2025: At Flavien's, it's not so great... It started off well. We had a reservation for 6 people at 8:30 pm, but we arrived at 8:40 pm (after the owner had already called us twice). We had barely arrived when we were reminded of our lateness and that someone had called us. Unfortunately, one of our guests was unwell and couldn't make it. This displeased the owner, who again made a comment, and I quote: "Next time, you need to let us know because we've already prepared the fries." Then she came to take our drink order, followed immediately by our food order. The food arrived almost at the same time as our aperitifs, so we didn't even have the option of ordering a second aperitif if we wanted. One of the tables we were at was placed on blocks. At the entrance, next to the bar, was their dog. One of our friends called it over to pet it. And then, another comment: "You mustn't call him 'Sir' to pet him; he has to stay in his place. He's been trained that way because otherwise he'll eat everything in sight..." During dessert, a woman was sweeping next to us. And finally, once we'd paid (it was 10 pm and we were the last customers), she escorted us to the door, keys in hand, closed the shutters, and off we went, even though we were still on the doorstep. The opening hours aren't respected because the website states closing time is midnight. We understand why, when we made the reservation, we were told they couldn't accommodate us after 9 pm. One small positive point: the silly jokes noted in the menu book at the end. Suzy... gave us a good laugh.

07/12/2025: I checked the reviews before booking. We decided to give it a try: the food was indeed good, but the owner's welcome... thank you very much! A very haughty and unpleasant person who constantly made remarks: a 10-minute delay, arriving at 8:40 pm for 8:30 pm, two phone calls, a last-minute absence (a comment because, you see, it was an extra portion of fries that wouldn't be served), and so on... To top it all off, we were rushed out at 10 pm with this woman who followed us to the door, keys in hand, and who closed and lowered the shutters as soon as we reached the doorway. (And yet the online hours indicate closing at midnight!) In short, I really wonder what this kind of person is doing in the restaurant business. A warm welcome and courtesy are the bare minimum. She seriously needs to consider changing careers, and I feel very sorry for her employees if she treats them the same way.

05/07/2025: Very welcoming, friendly, attentive, convivial, and helpful staff. Welcome with a smile and the food is very good. Julien is a very good server, very polite, courteous, and attentive to customers. We find true French service. What more can I say except go there.

10/11/2024: A first for me and I don't regret coming for a drink with a game of darts. The place is really nice and friendly.

19/10/2024: Great bar, good atmosphere. Good draft beer from the region (we discover some gems). Evenings, games. A nice decoration. little dart. In short, a little favorite to discover.

22/12/2024: Good morning, First visit Sunday morning, our hot drink was served at an ideal temperature so that the children did not burn themselves, the pastries and pastries were good. The employees were impeccable. All for a very reasonable price. I recommend this place in the heart of the E.Leclerc shopping center. Best wishes,

05/07/2025: Honestly, we weren't disappointed. We had a great meal. The presentation of the dishes was very neat, and the food was excellent. Just one small complaint was the waitress's attire, which lacked a bit of class, especially compared to the other waiters, who were well-dressed in black shirts and pants. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely return.

14/09/2024: Disappointed by this very noisy place we couldn't hear ourselves talking. 15€ for 6 small oysters… good meat and good fish on the other hand the dessert a semi-cooked one was certainly not homemade it was simply cooked and was exactly reminiscent of the semi-cooked one from Bonne Maman.

02/10/2024: A very cozy restaurant with very cool service and not only a special atmosphere but also particularly good Soeisen. Starter, main course, dessert and wine were excellent and served with a huge heart and charming smile. We discovered the restaurant by chance and absolutely loved it.

25/01/2025: Excellent evening last night for a friend's birthday. We were served by a young girl and a young man, both very kind and efficient, my friend even had the right to a candle on her dessert and the whole restaurant sang for her! Very good atmosphere! The meals were delicious, everything is homemade, we had a great time and for the quality the price is more than fair. We will come back and I really recommend this restaurant!

11/12/2024: While passing through Orchies, I stopped at La Table à Dîner. The manager is very kind and in a good mood. The dishes are plentiful, served quickly and very good. I recommend. Little info: accepts paper ANCV and Connect holiday vouchers. I will go back!

29/11/2024: Spacious, quiet and relaxing establishment, with classic but pleasant decor. The welcome on the phone and on site by the boss Christelle is warm and welcoming. I have already been able to enjoy a Maroilles chicory/fries/salad, as well as a beef cheek with Provençal sauce cooked slowly for 6 hours, falling apart easily, served with fries and salad, or an exquisite pear, very tender when cooked. rare respected as it should be, fries salad, yes, I love fries.....and salad too. Varied dishes and drinks, you will definitely find what you are looking for, with quality products mainly local, you can feel it on the plate, I congratulate the chef in passing. Christelle's service is responsive and efficient, she knows how to advise and present her products, and always finds a moment to chat, with a smile too, you feel at home, which is appreciated. Today I had a Duvel (a plus), a beef cheek / fries / salad, a glass of Puisseguin Saint Emilion, two scoops of coffee, homemade whipped cream and a coffee, for...... 37€, i.e. 10€ more than an American fast food restaurant that I won't name. All this with your feet under the table, you don't even have to put your tray on the trolley, frankly there's no photo, the choice and quickly done. I have always enjoyed having lunch in this establishment, a rare gem in Orchies. My comment may seem complacent, but it is not, I simply salute their work, they like what they do, you can feel it, and then, you also have to say it when it's good. They'll see me again, that's for sure.
