11/12/2024: An oasis of peace on the Kassel market, with a sunny terrace a few meters higher than the other catering establishments. Fine choice of dishes with a Flemish twist, ditto local beers, including the Reuze blond and ambrée, both tested and approved. Authentic and cozy interior.
12/11/2024: Snack break after a hike. A warm place, which is worth the detour!

25/01/2025: Excellent evening last night for a friend's birthday. We were served by a young girl and a young man, both very kind and efficient, my friend even had the right to a candle on her dessert and the whole restaurant sang for her! Very good atmosphere! The meals were delicious, everything is homemade, we had a great time and for the quality the price is more than fair. We will come back and I really recommend this restaurant!
21/01/2025: Very nice restaurant. Simple and very well made dishes! I went there in the winter and I plan to come back in the summer to enjoy the terrace. I recommend.

Les énoncés ne sont pas dans l'attente dans l'assiette
On vous annonce petits gris en croûte de champignons mais c'est simplement des champignons frais avec deux escargots dedans ! Où est la croûte ?
La présentation est belle mais rien en saveurs quel dommage je m'attendais à réellement mieux

11/01/2025: We had booked for this cold evening at 7:15 p.m. and we unfortunately arrived 15 minutes late, which meant we were welcomed into the "heated" terrace but above all well cooled by the outside temperature of around 0 degrees. dish was well served, the door connecting to the well-heated room was carefully closed, and we enjoyed our cold fish in an appropriate but not very friendly atmosphere. cool weather!

01/09/2024: A creperie like in Brittany with succulent pancakes and sweet crepes that are killer. Fast service, a chef who manages to put wonders on your plates. The homemade frangipane crepe is highly recommended as is the salted butter caramel. 😍
07/08/2024: A fuir, cuisinier vulgaire, qui parle mal aux serveuses, il a les cheveux long et travaille sans charlotte. Nous avons retrouvé des cheveux dans nos assiettes. Super déçu au vu des prix exorbitants pour des crêpes.

04/12/2024: Bon accueil, carte bien fournie certes, mais des surprises notamment pour le potjevleesch !
Pour autant qu'on puisse en juger ce dernier ne semble être constitué que de petits morceaux de jambon sans véritable saveur et incrustés dans une gélatine très dure. Rien à voir avec les excellents potch des Flandres qui présentent classiquement de beaux morceaux de viandes de lapin , de volaille, de veaux et de porc.
La remarque en a été faite à la personne qui nous a servi et qui s'est contentée de dire qu'elle en informerait le Chef.
Aucun retour ...
30/11/2024: Bonne ambiance et bonne cuisine du Nord. Pas franchement estaminet mais resto franchement bon et synpath' .
Service rapide autant qu''attentif. Et toujours un bon choix de binouses.Un très bon rapport qualité prix , et en quantité !

I had put a very good review in 2021, which I had to modify to put the new negative
You didn't bother to answer it at the time.
Regarding the service, when we arrived there was almost no one left
Indeed, you should have taken a few days off to avoid your headaches.
When you cannot manage a service the day before the start of the school year, you close your establishment.
For the cherry tomatoes and figs, sorry but there were none
3 grains of corn and your cubed tomatoes (not cherry tomatoes, so not the same taste)
I was just waiting for someone to let me know and a little “sorry”
It's not much
What is certain is that I will favor a restaurant in the center of Bavay (very good pizzeria not to mention it) which has "knowledge" and the quality of service is highlighted and respect for customer
You still have a lot of work
Since 2021, we have been regular customers where the service and dishes have satisfied us despite sometimes a few bugs or oversights but not serious.
But last night it was a real disaster
1h30 wait to receive our dishes which were also cold (cold fries, undercooked) plates prepared without any conviction
As for my salad, missing ingredients are replaced without warning or even an apology.
And soon I'm the idiot and I'm made to look like nothing at all
I know this salad by heart and I know the ingredients in it perfectly because I order it every time.
The least you could do was warn me about the missing ingredients.
Our friends and we said it was good last time. We were really disappointed.
02/09/2024: Hello. We went to eat last night. Enormous disappointment, 35 minutes to receive the drinks, 1 hour 20 to get our meals, the cold fries? The missing sauces we had to request the missing sauces 3 times I have. Had to go to the counter to finally get them? They serve you a fig salad but without figs? The least we can do is point it out. I could have understood if the restaurant was packed but that was not the case. So I don't recommend this place to anyone.
