17/05/2026: This was our first time eating at La Patatiere, even though we live in Dunkirk. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The portions were very generous and hearty! The menu wasn't expensive, and the service was excellent. We'll be back! If I had to add one suggestion: add a second fish Patatiere to the menu, and have the cheese melted a little more. Otherwise, it was perfect! Thank you to La Patatiere for giving us a place to eat, because on a Saturday evening at 8:30 pm on the beach, many people were turned away because they said they had "nothing left to offer."

22/02/2026: Excellent place! Delicious food, perfectly prepared and generous portions of mussels. The atmosphere is warm and friendly; you really feel at home. The staff is welcoming and attentive. A truly delightful experience; I highly recommend it!

06/06/2026: Dining at this restaurant provided us with a bizarre experience. The starters were tasty, but the mussels were very small and quite tasteless. We initially thought the owner was very attentive; he pulled up a small table so we could enjoy the view of the church together during our meal. He did keep pointing out the view to us several times afterwards, and at one point, uninvited, he came and sat at our table with us, even though there were no other guests left in the establishment. His attentiveness turned into intrusiveness. He kept coming to sit at our table. We had the strong impression that he had had too much to drink. Then he even started asking my wife impertinent questions. I then asked him to leave our table and give me the bill. He suddenly became very angry and ordered us to leave the premises. New guests had just arrived, and he was briefly focusing his attention on them. I walked to the bar and asked for the bill again. He suddenly approached me very threateningly and pushed me very hard towards the door. He even continued pushing me outside on the street and grabbed me in a chokehold right in the middle of the street; he is a big man, and I am over 70. My wife shouted very loudly to bystanders to call the police. Then he let go and went back inside his establishment. We were quite shaken, but decided to leave it at that. We didn't pay either, not because we didn't want to, but because he apparently didn't want to. I don't think everyone will receive such treatment, but I really cannot recommend this restaurant.

16/05/2026: We had a super delicious meal. We were welcomed incredibly warmly. You can feel the passion of the chef, who greets the guests himself and presents his menu. A special plate was also prepared for our daughter. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: A few improvements to make: - Avoid pouring the last of the champagne from a bottle and then topping it up with a fresh glass; - Avoid serving the beginning of the foie gras terrine; serve a slice instead; - Incredibly long wait times (we arrived at the restaurant at noon and left at 4 p.m.); - Understaffed: for 16 occupied tables, there were only 4 people, including the chef; - Tables are a bit cramped. - The food is generally simple, and the Easter dessert (praline nest) was tasteless. Overall rating: 3

01/06/2026: We came for lunch at the end of May. We received a very warm welcome. The dishes we chose were simply exquisite and the prices were very reasonable (€30 for two people for two cocktails and two courses). We will be back!

26/05/2026: Excellent welcome, very successful contemporary decor, and perfect value for money. The added bonus: the green terrace. Don't let the name fool you, it's an excellent restaurant! A first visit, but definitely not the last!

25/05/2026: Always a cool and friendly atmosphere, which is part of the charm of this place, both indoors and outdoors. You're never disappointed by the food and desserts, but it's best to book ahead, especially on weekends! The owner and service are friendly and relaxed.

30/05/2026: The setting is very pleasant, as is the service, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The menu is original and refined, featuring, for example, a good amount of fruit (strawberries, mangoes, etc.) in the savory dishes, but of course, there are also much more conventional options. The prices are admittedly a bit higher than those of a typical brasserie, but the quality of the food more than justifies the difference!

09/03/2026: A very good experience last night at this restaurant! The all-you-can-eat buffet is excellent, with a good selection of dishes. Everything is well-presented and regularly replenished. The restaurant is also very clean, which is always appreciated. The servers are warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. We had the opportunity to chat with them briefly and learned that it's a family-run business. This is evident in the atmosphere and the attention given to customers, and it truly adds value to the experience. I highly recommend this place!

The prices are very reasonable! Overall, the service is quite fast, and the food is well-presented and well-packaged! I'm quite particular about sushi, as it's my favorite dish, and honestly, I'm very happy with my second order! The rice isn't sweet, and the ingredients are very fresh—everything I love! And their added bonus is a loyalty card that gives you free sushi after a certain number of orders!
