30/01/2026: The waiter was incredibly welcoming and helpful, doing everything to meet our needs and make us feel comfortable. The meal was generously portioned and very appetizing. The dishes were delicious. Just one disappointment with the dessert: a chocolate fondant that was still good, but not homemade... so we were expecting something homemade to match the quality of the other dishes. A slight lack of tranquility can be felt as some tables are quite close together. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless and hygienic. I highly recommend this restaurant because the value for money is excellent, which is becoming rare, and also for the warm welcome. Thanks to the very competent kitchen staff for making our meal so enjoyable! We frequented this restaurant for lunch and dinner 😉

07/02/2026: I arrived today at 1:50 PM and wasn't served until 2:30 PM because they mixed up my order. I had to ask twice to get it correct. Furthermore, the trays were dirty, with hair and salad. I didn't even receive a gesture of goodwill for the wait, even though they had forgotten about me.

15/02/2026: Came for Valentine's Day last night… superb discovery!!! Magnificent setting, excellent cuisine!!! The ribeye steak was enormous and high quality, the endives with Maroilles sauce were sublime… in short, I recommend it 100%… can't wait to go back!!! Thank you!!!!

We waited 6 minutes and left; we won't be going back. However, giving us 1 star for food we haven't even tried seems harsh and inappropriate." So, I'll put it this way: I've eaten at your restaurant several times and I've never criticized the food. Perhaps I was lucky enough to come when the restaurant needed customers, but in the restaurant business, especially considering the prices, you can't neglect your clientele. In any case, thank you. "La Taverne du Petit Wasquehal," which is a 2-minute drive away, delighted us with its warm welcome and delicious food.

15/02/2026: Very disappointed. Cold fries, cold Roquefort sauce. Twice I asked for it to be reheated, and it was brought back burnt. No half chicken and no crème brûlée. We complained and received a 10% discount on the bill. I'm going to leave a review on the website because I'm not happy at all. I said, "Have a good evening," and they replied, "Well, in any case, have a bad evening." A disgrace, truly a disgrace. It's a shame for the chain to have staff like that. 09/03/2025: Great lunch stop on the way back to the UK. Worth the 9 minute diversion. I had crab croquettes and fresh seafood risotto, my husband had the fois gras and steak frites.
