26/01/2025: The advantage of one of the rare places in Lille open late in the evening (after 10:30 p.m.). The dishes are very generous (chicken gratinated with maroilles, cheddar burger) but the fries would have benefited from being crispier.

25/01/2025: Small problem with my mulled wine very quickly resolved by the service. They quickly agreed to replace my glass. Calm atmosphere and pleasant service staff.

15/11/2024: Really nice atmosphere inside. The music is so vibey. I sat here with my husband and we ate fish and chips. They gave us some yummy free soup. The pastries are very good as well, we had speculooscake. The bathroom is superduper clean! There were paintings from a local well-known flemish painter! They were very nice. Great experience!

03/11/2024: Spontaneous stop in Cassel on the road to Mont des Cats in the restaurant. We didn't know what to expect, but what a great discovery! Homemade cuisine that uses quality products and highlights regional specialties. We are already planning to come back soon!

05/11/2025: Message for Maxence: We stopped by this evening and, due to a minor technical issue, we had the opportunity to meet the very friendly Maxence, who made us laugh a lot. Thank you so much for this pleasant moment. We were at the drive-thru and everything went very smoothly.

29/09/2024: We came to the Guinguette de la Marine yesterday afternoon, we were very well received by a waiter who seated us straight away at our table. The rest of the service staff said hello warmly to us when we passed them, a nice touch that we find less and less in restaurants. We had a butcher's cut and the dish of the day (Saturday) which was pork belly smoked with beech wood (if I remember correctly) with roasted baby potatoes and a pan of oyster mushrooms and shiitakes + mustard sauce with ancient. In addition to being more than generous with the sauce, the quality of the products and that of the cuisine was incredible. If you think it looks delicious in the photo, I can assure you right away, it doesn't just look like it. We really had a pleasant time, service, cuisine, atmosphere and setting I have nothing to complain about. We had stopped by during the Lille clearance sale and had already had a great time. But outside of the sale period, take advantage of the quality and creativity of the dishes they offer, they are definitely worth the detour. For our part, we will definitely come back!

25/01/2025: I had a great time with my family in a beautiful setting (converted train carriage). Note marred, however, by the wait for our order and the shallot sauce which tasted like water.

We all had a great time. Quality products and beautiful plates Very warm welcome. A great first experience and not the last!

07/12/2024: We discovered this restaurant by chance a few months ago. We really enjoy homemade. The menu changes often and there are dishes on a slate that change every week. We go back there almost every Friday evening. We introduced this restaurant to our family, who also like it! The welcome is very pleasant, the food is delicious. I really recommend. For a dish at 17€50, don’t hesitate!!

07/12/2025: I highly recommend Royal Dynastie. I've been a customer for many years, and it has always been a top-quality restaurant, both for its buffet and its service. Not to mention the kindness and friendliness of the owner, which I truly appreciate and which you won't find anywhere else. She always tries to find a moment to come to our table and chat for three or four minutes; she's attentive to her customers' well-being. The arrival of a new competitor doesn't change the value of what you offer. Keep the faith: your loyal customers, myself included, know why they come to you and will continue to do so. I won't be changing restaurants because the products are fresh and the selection is excellent. Three Saturdays in a row next time! 😊 Don't hesitate to support them.
