13/04/2026: A charming, northern French atmosphere in the heart of Mons-en-Pévèle. The chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. However, the woman who worked at the reception/cook was less than welcoming. No greeting, and her approach to taking payment was reminiscent of a "give me your money and get out" attitude.

19/07/2026: Discovered by chance, but an absolute highlight. Superb quality and excellent service. Great value for money. We had lamb and duck, which was absolutely delicious. We followed it with a cramble apple for dessert – it couldn't have been better.

31/07/2026: I stumbled upon this snack bar while on vacation, and it was fantastic!! The burger was great, the fries were delicious, I highly recommend it!!

06/07/2026: I placed an Uber Eats order with 2 pizzas and 2 boxes of mozzarella sticks. No complaints about the pizzas, however, the 2 boxes of mozzarella sticks were a total disappointment. We only got 2 sticks in each pizza. It was a promotion: buy one box for €6.90, get one free, so for €6.90 we only got 2 sticks. That's incredibly expensive. It's a shame because the pizzas are really very good, but the fact that there were only 4 mozzarella sticks for 2 boxes... well, there's definitely something wrong.

02/08/2026: Restaurant with a terrace overrun with gnats and flies, mulled wine glasses fresh from the dishwasher, stale bread, and an owner who refuses to listen to constructive criticism from her customers and prefers to retreat to the kitchen, claiming she'll get angry. A Facebook post not available at the restaurant. A very bad experience.

19/05/2026: Caution. There are two Orient Express restaurants located directly opposite each other. We went to the one called "Poulet Braise." We checked their website beforehand and chose our dishes. Of course, we ended up at the one whose menu wasn't valid. A shame. But we still found something on the menu of that restaurant. The portions were generous and good. The service was also friendly and helpful. Full marks. The ambiance could use a bit more style. Very good value for money. It would be great if the owner could clarify things on Google beforehand.

10/05/2026: The meat was cooked perfectly and was delicious, the fries were perfectly crispy, the salad wasn't dry and was incredibly tasty, the drinks were super cold, and the welcome was fantastic – it was a delight! 😋
