03/09/2026: I'll start by thanking the lady who greeted and served us; she was so energetic, very kind, and full of humor. However, regarding the salad I ordered, it wasn't anything special: a green salad, bacon bits, toasted baguette, and warm goat cheese log. Sixteen euros seems reasonable, perhaps a little excessive. Still, it was acceptable.

16/09/2026: I highly recommend this brasserie! The dishes are homemade, generous, and delicious. No frills here, just real cuisine with hearty portions and comforting dishes that you'll love to eat. The desserts are just as good and generous as the main courses, and the service and welcome are top-notch. A little gem to discover if you're in the Valenciennes area!

22/09/2026: Truly a place to celebrate something. We had the 8-course surprise menu for lunch here. All small and tasty dishes, beautifully presented and well-balanced. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly and attentive.
19/09/2026: Dining at Bloempot ultimately did not live up to our expectations. The wine was not good; only 1 or 2 of the pairings (6 in total) were good. For the main course, we had pork, which was flavorful but unremarkable. The other dishes were unique but not flavorful. This is one of our less impressive culinary experiences. However, the staff was very friendly and the location is beautiful.

We ordered platters and a main course, and we all loved it – the portions were generous and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place for a great time.

05/09/2026: We came here to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. We received a very warm welcome. The food was delicious and fresh. Whether it was the foie gras, the salmon, the tournedos Rosini, or the lamb, there was nothing to criticize. Everything was perfect! We will definitely be back. Thank you again.
01/09/2026: We went there as a family and discovered this place thanks to my sister and brother-in-law, who stumbled upon this inn during a walk in the forest. We all enjoyed delicious meals, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful time; it was a truly delightful experience.
A nice touch: the chef came to check on us at the end of service to see if we had a great meal, which I found very thoughtful and considerate of his guests!
Thank you so much, we will gladly return!

20/07/2026: A wonderful discovery during our stay at Lac du Val Joly! This establishment is just a few minutes' drive from the leisure park. Perfect for a drink with their great cocktail menu, but also for a meal—their food is excellent (special mention for the waffle, a real treat 😍). The welcome was incredibly friendly; everything is there for a fantastic time.
