13/01/2026: Hi! I just got back from a morning of bike repair with a friend. I knew about the concept, but I'd never actually been. We both had brake problems, so we decided to go in. I was pleasantly surprised by the team there—they were so friendly, fun-loving, and incredibly patient. Goodness knows how patient you have to be with me! 😄 Besides getting my bike fixed 🚲, I had a great time and learned loads of things, especially how to change bike brakes. And let's not forget the satisfaction of doing it myself, with a little help, of course. In short, it was fantastic!

15/04/2026: My friend and I went back to Les 3 Brasseurs yesterday, and as usual, we were very glad we did... the quality of the food is still excellent (kudos to the kitchen staff... the dishes arrived at the right time, at the same time... and piping hot!!!). After a Picon with white wine (which tasted like Picon!!!), I devoured a Troyes andouillette sausage... excellent!!! And my friend had a dish that she absolutely loved... Last time, I had the onion soup, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and I really regret that it's no longer on the menu... Don't change a thing!!! Everything is perfect!!! Marc

13/04/2026: As a regular at this restaurant, I can say the food is good, a sure bet when you want to treat yourself. I've never been disappointed. The burgers, poutine, steak and eggs, carbonnade, and even the flammekueche for dessert are all excellent. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food.

11/12/2024: A great experience spoiled by a disappointing detail We recently dined at this renowned restaurant and were generally satisfied with the quality of the dishes. The ambiance and service were also pleasant. However, an incident tarnished our evening: while tasting the capon, we discovered a piece of plastic preservation film (cellophane type) in our dish. Although this could happen, we would have expected better management of the situation. The restaurant offered us a glass of wine for €9, a gesture which seemed out of proportion to a total bill of €288 for four people. We would have appreciated a more meaningful gesture. This kind of incident leaves a bitter taste in an otherwise successful experience. In summary, it's a good restaurant, but the lack of consideration for an issue like this might deter some.

11/12/2024: A moment in complete simplicity, an attentive welcome from the teams. Unbeatable value for money. On the kitchen side, some improvements to consider regarding the “interludes” and the trout-based starter which is a little too basic. Special mentions to the dish around the capon (very well executed, delicious juice, parsnip treated with several textures..) and a dessert of Irish coffee revisited in a delicious Baileys style. Disappointing pre-dessert segment of unrisen clementine… Thank you we had a pleasant time. PS we were unable to publish our photos

27/03/2026: What can I say? It was a wonderful evening in this cozy restaurant. Everything tasted fantastic, and the service was very friendly. We especially appreciated being able to choose between white and red wine pairings. You don't find that in Germany. The icing on the cake, however, was the offer to pack up the desserts served at the end if we couldn't manage them all. We gladly accepted. The value for money is excellent. The espresso, however, seemed a bit too expensive, which we didn't quite understand. But this didn't spoil our good mood at all. Thank you for a lovely evening!

13/01/2026: Delicious fish terrine as a starter, excellent fish main course followed by a gourmet coffee. I recommend it a thousand times over.

14/02/2026: Lost in the plains of maritime Flanders, near the Bourbourg Canal, in a sort of no man's land... a traditional Flemish pub, one of the few truly authentic ones still in existence... La Brique d'Or! With a certain aesthetic appeal, impeccable taste, and without ostentation... As for the menu... a real journey, featuring typical homemade pub dishes! But not only that... cassoulet, tagines, tripe with juniper and beer! Certainly among the best I've ever eaten! A delight! A great delight! Moreover, as is fitting in a true pub, a convivial atmosphere where everyone is welcome... Lovers, carnival-goers, and others, all with Betty's elegant hospitality! Elegance, aesthetics, and culinary pleasure... all without ostentation and with authenticity and refinement in every aspect... It's simply... classy! There's a beautifully produced book that lists the most charming Flemish pubs in the region, "Estam: The Soul of Flemish Pubs," by Gilles Guillon (text) and Denis Paillard (photographs). La Brique d'Or would certainly have a prominent place in this fine work, among the very best... such as Chez Léon, Kerelshof, De Halve Maan, the garden at Mont des Récollets, and many others... And I know a thing or two about pubs! Bravo and thank you for existing!

23/04/2026: Misleading advertising! They advertise all-you-can-eat rib-eye steak on Thursday evenings. The first rib-eye was impeccable and of very good quality. After that, when you ask for a second one, you get reheated pieces of rib-eye, not a whole rib. We had to ask several times for fries without success. I do not recommend it.

26/04/2026: As regulars at this bistro, we celebrated my mother's 90th birthday there in a private room. The decor is very warm and intimate, with a view of the terrace. The service was impeccable, with dishes in sauce served in individual pans. They have a good wine list and, of course, beer brewed on-site. The owners and staff are very attentive, and we highly recommend this wonderful place. Thank you.
