07/05/2026: Very disappointed with the pizzas. €41 for 3 pizzas is expensive, but if they were really good, why not? But that was definitely not the case here. I've been a customer for a while, and there's been a significant drop in quality while the prices have gone up. It's a shame…

20/03/2026: A great place! The pizzeria is already very attractive from the outside. Inside, a friendly team welcomes you. The pizzas are very generously topped, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The desserts are homemade; the tiramisu and chocolate mousse are delicious. A lovely place to discover. I recommend it.

12/02/2026: A quick tour of the shop. A few machines and stills remain. There's a lack of explanation, but that's because the entire old factory is undergoing complete restoration.

27/02/2026: Review of the GASTRONOMIC restaurant: My experience at La Maison Demarcq in no way reflects what one would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Wearing a suit is unfortunately not enough to guarantee professional service. The waitresses on duty that evening did not seem trained to meet the requirements of this type of establishment: cutlery dropped during clearing, an empty water bottle left on the table for half the meal without being offered another… and these are just a few examples. The most disappointing aspect was the handling of a perfectly legitimate comment regarding my partner's starter. We had all ordered the set menu, but his plate was noticeably richer in aspic than those of the other diners. When I pointed this out, the waitress replied that the kitchen had probably made a mistake by sending an à la carte starter instead of the one from the set menu. I expressed that this had spoiled the meal, but I received neither a clear apology nor any real attention to the situation, just a dismissive "oh well..." Mistakes happen, but the lack of a professional response is regrettable. Regarding the food, the meal was acceptable up until the main course (despite this incident). However, the dessert was a real disappointment: an extremely thick, heavy mille-feuille, difficult to enjoy, and which, in my opinion, has no place in an establishment claiming to be fine dining. It's a shame to end the meal on such an undignified note. Finally, the music was not in keeping with the advertised setting and level of service. The playlist played sounded more like an NRJ Music Awards party than a musical selection suitable for a fine dining restaurant. This contributed to an overall inconsistent experience. In the end, the price-quality ratio may partly explain these negative points: the pricing positioning remains reasonable, and this ultimately makes certain imperfections less surprising — even if we still expect a minimum of professionalism and consistency.

10/04/2026: I've been in Armentières for four years and I'd never noticed this restaurant before, but it's a real gem! The place is cozy and the food is excellent. I booked for my sister and me, and honestly, the welcome was fantastic (apart from a few awkward glances when we first walked in, but we quickly forgot about them once we were seated). The service was quick and efficient, and the savory buckwheat galettes are delicious, and their sweet crêpes are incredible! For two people, the price is well worth it. We'll definitely be back... go for it without hesitation! 😊😊

09/04/2026: The prices are outrageous! €9.50 for a Jägerbomb! It's insane. They don't offer the 10% discount for shoppers, which isn't very customer-friendly either. The waiter was very friendly.

25/12/2025: Excellent, whether it's the bakery or the pastry shop. Update after a Christmas order...simply excellent...the Yule logs were sublime, the "Merveilleuse" and "Temptation" pastries were amazing, and their specialty breads were excellent.

27/03/2026: I'm sad to share this, because I'm here on a friend's recommendation. I went there today (12:25) with an elderly person. We were greeted by a man (the owner?), who was cold, not a smile, and rushed. Our order was taken at 12:30 (the waitress was lovely). Our appetizer was served at 12:45 and finished at 12:55. Our main course was served at 13:25 (30 minutes later). We have no complaints about the food itself (quality and generous portions). It was quite busy, perhaps they were understaffed. We paid, and there wasn't even a "goodbye" or "see you soon." What a shame... It might be nicer in the evening.

30/11/2025: A warm welcome for our family gathering. Pre-ordering was a great idea... We had a lovely time in this charming, slightly old-fashioned establishment. All the dishes were served piping hot and together, even though there were many of us. Well done!

29/04/2026: Excellent place! I've been a few times and I'm never disappointed. The selection of dishes and marinated fish is varied and everything is absolutely delicious :p I personally recommend ordering platters and appetizers to share so you can try everything!!

29/04/2026: A truly wonderful place. A varied selection of carefully chosen fish, prepared and marinated with finesse and precision. The four-salmon platter (see photo) is excellent. Very good value for money.

07/03/2026: Beautiful setting, lovely presentation, it was good, however, the service was lacking. She didn't offer us the gin-based cocktail I requested, even though I asked for one with a side dish she could suggest. The same goes for the suggested dishes; we saw them before leaving, and I had to ask for wine myself because she hadn't asked me about drinks with our meal. So, the service needs improvement, please. All servers should be familiar with your products, menus, and suggestions. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
