24/07/2026: It's not what it used to be! The atmosphere wasn't great. The welcome wasn't great either. Before, if you arrived, it was packed unless you had a reservation. Fabrice isn't there anymore, and you can really feel the difference! The set menu we ordered was the same one my mother and I had already ordered, and frankly, it wasn't good at all. We didn't even finish our meals. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but the owner chose to ignore us! We're no longer from the area, and we certainly won't be back.

18/07/2026: After a very good review, we were very disappointed after two visits in the evening (on a Saturday). It tasted like reheated food! Microwaved! The salmon was overcooked, with a bad taste and no flavor (like Marie's). The waiter noticed and replaced the dish, which arrived two minutes later, but it was cold. The gratin dauphinois was grayish, and I suspect it was reheated from lunch. In short, we left without dessert. The owner didn't even apologize. We won't be going back. Either they've changed chefs or things are going downhill. Restaurants need to understand that when we pay, it's to enjoy a delicious meal, not to leave it all on the plate.

17/05/2026: The Garden of Giants is a magnificent haven of peace, somewhat hidden just behind the Lille-Europe train station. A superb and relaxing place that is truly worth a visit!

13/05/2026: An unusual garden in Euralille, primarily based around water and wetland plants, with fish and a terrapin! Also a lot of giant bamboo, a couple of large frames supporting wisteria and other climbers and a couple of large topiary heads. Very enjoyable, though not large and the surrounding roads detract a bit from getting there!

23/03/2026: Stopped by yesterday for a drink on the terrace. Pleasant welcome, friendly atmosphere, and reasonably priced beer. A simple and convivial moment, which was much appreciated.

26/01/2026: I came to your place after a trail run, just for a drink, and you very kindly invited us to stay for dinner. I didn't want to impose... and yet we were treated like royalty! I was able to enjoy your Welsh rarebit, without a doubt the best I've ever had—so much so that I didn't even realize there was no egg. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp croquettes. The prices are reasonable, and the service is perfect. A big thank you to the whole team!

04/01/2026: We went there on a Sunday at lunchtime and were lucky to get a table: the place was full within minutes. We understood why! The food is excellent and the value for money is just as good. I'll gladly go back!

12/04/2026: Another fantastic discovery! A very warm welcome, a lovely and varied selection of excellent products. I had lamb fillet with mashed potatoes, and my colleague had sweetbreads with fries. Both were cooked perfectly. The service was very efficient, friendly, and attentive.

19/07/2026: A very warm welcome in a beautiful setting with the option of dining on the terrace or in the air-conditioned dining room. Set menus are available, as well as à la carte options. The scallops and burger were excellent. However, I was disappointed by the dessert; the Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was not up to par for the price. I still recommend it, though.

10/07/2026: One of the best chip shops in the area! The fries are excellent, the sandwiches are generously filled, and everything is always served piping hot. The staff is friendly, the wait is short, and the place is very clean. A real pleasure every time I visit. I highly recommend it!

17/06/2026: We had reserved for 7 pm but didn't arrive until 7:07 pm. Fortunately, the kind-hearted owner turned a blind eye, and we were allowed to sit down at the table immediately. That was the start of a culinary adventure that left us speechless and more than satisfied. The blackboard menu was limited, which was already a good sign. The dishes were served at a pleasant pace. And the lady who served us was amazing. Efficient, with humor and style. When we left, it was a wonderful experience to breathe in the pure forest air for a moment and savor the moment. What a blissful place!
