A rather family-friendly atmosphere, plus a lovely terrace overlooking Place Jean Bart where you can dine. I recommend it 100/100. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! 😉

You truly feel taken care of, the staff are incredibly attentive, and the food is a delight. A perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover!

23/02/2026: After eating, I noticed the restaurant was still empty. I felt very alone. A customer came in and it was full. Apparently, they're selling alcohol for €30 a bottle to people who are emotionally vulnerable. After that, I decided not to order again because the menus had become too expensive. And to my great surprise, after eating there in August 2025, I was surprised to find the owner at my door in February 2026. He simply told me to pay. I've never seen anything like it. I advise you against going to this restaurant because they come and demand money you don't owe them. I've never seen anything like it.

21/04/2026: What a wait... Our neighbors, who were on their lunch break, were talking about leaving and getting a sandwich. The problem was in the kitchen; the two servers seemed a bit lost. As for the food: the Maroilles quiche was good, the fries were frozen, the butcher's cut was very tough and tiny once the fat was removed, the apple tart was completely tasteless—I still wonder how it's possible to make such a bland tart—the espresso was very good. But there were absolutely no extras: no bread, no sauce, and no sugar or biscuit with the coffee. It's really better to pay a little more and get some decent quality. We won't be going back.

21/04/2026: There were three of us for lunch that day, and we were seated at the second table in Bouillon. After our order was taken and our drinks were quickly served, the wait began... The deviled eggs were okay, but they were served without bread despite our request. Then we waited an hour for sausage and mashed potatoes, cheese croquettes, and a lasagna. The food was mediocre, and there was absolutely no explanation for the slow service. The restaurant filled up, and everyone else was served before us! No apology, no gesture of goodwill... We won't be back.

18/04/2026: I loved the meal, and so did my friends. The staff is pleasant, smiling, and friendly. I'll gladly come back. A tip: book in advance! 😉

18/04/2026: A bit long, but frankly nice, welcoming, with traditional, tasty and well-served Northern cuisine, and an unobstructed view of the pretty Scheldt canal.
