24/06/2026: It's good, but it's a shame that considering the price, which is the same as another chip shop in Pont-sur-Sambre, we were very poorly served. Not many fries. Half a baguette was really small. It's a shame, as we're a family of five and we always get two burgers and meat for our three children. With the heatwave and everything closed, we went there, but there were hardly any fries at all. Considering the high price, be more generous.

13/07/2026: Following a friend's suggestion, I went to eat at Monsieur Mavet's restaurant yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed the welcome, the food, and the atmosphere. It's a restaurant like you rarely see anymore: unpretentious but with good, fresh, and well-prepared ingredients, generous portions, and all at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.

14/08/2026: We came for dinner on a weeknight as a couple and had a wonderful time thanks to the really lovely setting, the tasteful decor, the warm welcome typical of our beautiful region, and the efficient service. The menu is well-balanced with a wide selection, complemented by a nice chalkboard of daily specials. There's also a great selection of good beers, including the excellent Paix Dieu on tap. We shared nachos with melted cheese, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream: they were excellent! As for our main courses, since there was no information about the origin of the beef (which put me off), I opted for the mixed platter and my partner chose the ribs. Everything was very good and homemade. We finished with scoops of ice cream from a renowned artisan ice cream maker, and we weren't disappointed: they were delicious.

25/07/2026: Wow! It couldn't be worse for me. Ten minutes waiting at the register for someone to take my order. Okay, it's busy, and that's understandable, but make an effort and have someone at the register. I would have waited outside drinking my Coke. I left with this bad experience of poor service.

27/06/2026: I've been to this pizzeria and, honestly, I've had better pizza than anything I find in my area! What struck me most was the intense, authentic flavor of the tomato base: truly exceptional. I highly recommend it! The prices are very reasonable, we ate on the terrace, and the service was excellent. Below are some examples of what you can enjoy there.

16/08/2026: A great find not far from home. We initially came for a drink, but were surprised by the large terrace and its atmosphere. So we stayed for dinner, and our initial impression was confirmed: professional yet relaxed service. Simple, delicious dishes, always with a little something extra. A real gem! I'll be back for a drink, or to enjoy a waffle with the family after a walk in the woods, or for a casual meal with my partner.
