It was a very bad experience; she seemed bothered by my presence because she went into the kitchen in the middle of my order, her phone ringing. She came back smelling of cigarettes. 12/08/2024: Bij aankomst hadden ze gemist van datum ! Dus bij aankomst geen plaats en moesten op terras in tuin zitten! Apéritief, picon, meer ijsblokjes dan picon en wijn! De 2de die we vroegen, nog minder! En het service, voor een van de bedienden was het al te veel wat we vroegen! Stress??? Moesten om mayonaise vragen, om zout en peper en als ze het bracht was het met een zucht! Een meisje was wel vriendelijk en goed in bediening, maar kon niet overal tegelijk zijn! Het was onze eerste maal, aar denk dat het de laatste zal zijn! Gelukkig viel kwaliteit van t eten en prijs mee!

19/12/2024: So here I am shocked I ordered a crepe and a white chocolate strawberry waffle I received a crepe drowned in strawberry coulis with not very fresh strawberries, the same for the waffle but the worst in all that is the squares of chocolate whole white on the waffle and in the pancake, something never seen before 😱

The pasta is quite good but the mushroom sauce is extremely salty and therefore inedible, it was impossible to eat my dish I had to throw it away. Too bad the sauce spoils the taste of the homemade pasta. A little disappointed to have lost €10… 🥲 Otherwise the service was fast..

19/12/2024: Testé il y a quelques jours. Accueil sympa et souriant, le lieu est propre (sauf le sol qui glisse un peu... c'est étrange). Mon kébab était super bon, franchement, ça fait plaisir de manger de bons kébabs avec des bons produits. Mention spéciales aux frites. Alors oui ça se ressent sur le prix mais honnêtement, ça les vaut!

25/09/2024: We visited on our way back to the UK, one of the joys of France is going to their supermarkets as they are incredible compared to the UK, and this Auchan didn't disappoint! It is huge, with a garden centre as well, and a large home department, but as always it was the food section that really wowed us. A huge fresh food selection, and the butchery/deli area has an incredible range of meats including offal and lesser known cuts - onglet, bavette etc for sale which is incredibly hard to find in the UK. There is also an actual butcher out the back which you can see behind the glass where they make their own sausages and other meat products like the marinated items. And you can't talk about a French supermarket without mentioning the bread and patisserie - wonderful selection and the eclairs we bought were delicious. We also received great service - there was an Auchan staff member who heard us talking in English about a beer we couldn't find, and he stepped in to ask if he could help and he helped us find what we were looking for! Great service. Definitely one of the better Auchan's around, and if you're on your way back to the UK, definitely worth making a stop here!

21/09/2024: 12/24/2020: Although this Auchan hypermarket is not new, it is huge, well stocked and offers rather reasonable prices. It's the first time I've been here and I'm not disappointed. Despite the crowds, the checkout was quick. The staff remains pleasant, available and resists the pressure of this New Year's Eve. Well done ! Now that I live in Dunkirk, Auchan is my go-to supermarket. I do 80% of my shopping there.
