12/12/2025: Don't go there. There was mold in the galette, and they practically insulted me, calling me a liar. As someone with asthma, mold is very sensitive for me, especially in terms of my lungs. I used to be a loyal customer, but never again. You should be ashamed and keep a low profile instead of being so confrontational with your customers.

He remains true to himself in all circumstances, and that makes all the difference! Highly recommended for the quality, taste, and price of our meals: absolutely flawless. Honestly, don't hesitate!

30/01/2026: Excellent meal (pizza, pasta, or meat), very warm welcome, special mention for the limoncello baba. The amaretto tiramisu will be my next choice.

16/09/2025: Charlotte welcomed us into a vintage setting where many items are for sale... Remember at Mamie et Papi. The meal was delicious, homemade. The homemade banana ice cream is pure delight! For me, it's a place to visit without moderation. Thank you for the simple and warm welcome!

11/09/2025: Attracted by the somewhat unusual atmosphere, we chose this small restaurant. A friendly welcome. Disappointed on the way back, the portions were really small for the price, leaving us wanting more. The salad was mostly dressed with oil, lacking flavor. 13.50 for a salad that would be offered as a starter elsewhere given the quantities. The risotto was really disappointing, rice a bit drowned in an indeterminate sauce with an assortment of defrosted entry-level seafood. At 15.50, the quality, quantity, and price ratio were not there. Lack of seasoning and flavor there too. I went to get some salt, a small collection of cobwebs decorated the salt shakers. In short, really disappointed given the prices. We went to get dessert elsewhere after the main course.

24/01/2026: A very welcoming place with very friendly staff. Simple yet delicious food. A beautiful dining room with a lovely view, close to numerous hiking trails and the abbey. Reasonable prices, and pets are welcome. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

That was the rather blunt response to a request for a gourmet coffee on a Sunday at 2 pm because "it's reserved for the restaurant," like the tarts, etc. So, inaccessible to two hikers who had come to relax after a pleasant walk. No waffles either, because the machine was broken. In short, an unwelcoming place that makes you want to quickly find a nice, friendly café. Elsewhere

27/12/2025: A bit pricey for what it is. The fries are good. I was shocked to pay for tap water when it's against the law (Since decree no. 25-268 of June 8, 1967, a restaurant owner cannot charge you for a carafe of tap water).

03/10/2025: The themed evenings are a great success. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, even if a little noisy. Paella, couscous, or cassoulet, depending on the mood. But you can always choose from the bistro menu.

31/01/2026: I arrived at the restaurant at 8 PM and waited 10 minutes because several people were ordering, only to be told, "We're closing." So I waited for nothing when the employee could have told me as soon as I arrived. I will never set foot in that restaurant again. Since the arrival of the two employees (the one with the white dye job and the other with curly hair), the restaurant has been a disaster. I do not recommend it.

17/01/2026: Another resounding success for La Bascule Caudry! 😍 My son said as we left, "See, I told you it was amazing!" 😍 We have a fantastic meal every time! The waitresses are friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back! 🤩 Okay, the only downside to the restaurant is the unlit and rather inconvenient parking lot... full of potholes and bumps... and the same goes for the restaurant itself, where the lighting is poor (we had a visually impaired person eating).

15/01/2026: Very disappointed with our last visit. We waited 40 minutes to be served. A children's meal arrived: pasta with minced steak. The pasta arrived with 2 cm of water in the bowl-shaped dish. It was sent back to the kitchen. It came back cold and in one solid block (no oil). We couldn't even get a drink. I have a lot of reviews on Google, and this is one of the first times I've posted such a negative review. Something to think about for next time.

30/11/2025: What can I say about Angelo's place, it's complicated between the little one and the big one...lol...and really great brothers-in-law, the food is very good and at pizza time they know right away what I want to order.

29/10/2025: Passing through Lille, we returned to this pizzeria which had made a positive impression on us... 4 years ago already, time flies! We found the same friendly welcome and good food; the pasta carbonara was really excellent.
