24/05/2026: Excellent experience for three people one evening at La Gazza Ladra. We arrived shortly before closing time but received a warm welcome. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is excellent. The dishes are delicious and the portions are just right. I personally recommend the tagliatelle carbonara and the homemade chocolate mousse. If you're looking for a great meal with friends or family, I highly recommend La Gazza Ladra!

25/05/2026: Dinner this Saturday evening. The set menu is very expensive for what you get: €13.50 (a small chicken escalope, fries, and a chocolate cone). The cutlets were very average, undercooked, and the sauce was tasteless. The biggest downside is that you're charged for the mayonnaise and ketchup. Okay, it's listed on the menu, but it's the first time I've seen that in a restaurant. The owner was rather unpleasant when I took the bill, very surprised when I asked for it...

24/05/2026: If you want a pink duck breast, this isn't the place to go! We ordered a rare/pink duck breast from the waiter, who took our order... No further details were given. The plate arrived: the duck breast was way overcooked! We told the waitress that this wasn't what we ordered and sent the plate back to the kitchen. She returned immediately, explaining that it was impossible to have a pink duck breast, only well-done ones, because it was cooked sous-vide and precooked. Personally, I've never experienced such explanations in a restaurant before. A huge disappointment!

02/05/2026: Nice people, didn't have to book ahead. Really good food, close to Euralille and the main city. Also a really pretty decor. We liked it very much. Could sit here even as a (temporary) wheelchair user.

21/04/2026: I found the presentation of the dishes very average. The recipes are clearly very profitable, judging by the exorbitant prices. The portion of meat was small and sinewy, with no warm sauce. As for dessert: avoid the French toast (no pun intended)... it was the size of a tiny pancake, flat and topped only with whipped cream, and absolutely no ice cream, because at €8 or €9 it wouldn't be profitable anymore... Luckily, the waiter was fantastic, modest and honest (he didn't try to sell us a dream). But €70 for two people is a bit steep! Especially for that...
